This has got to be one of the best instructional videos out there. This is totally worth every penny. This is a must have for the Nunchuck/Nunchaku enthusiast, Beginner, Intermediate and Advance student/practitioner. Darrell is the F@#&ing MAN. His tips and advice are excellent, as well as his purpose to teaching the student how to PROPERLY use and handle the nunchucks/nunchaku. This video was full of great information as well as entertaining. I couldn't help but laugh with him while he had his, I think was his student standing beside him practicing with the nunchucks. This is as real and instructional as it gets. He has mad skills, just watching as he maneuvers those chucks so effortlessly, is motivation enough. Youtube has nothing on this. So if you're looking for some great instruction, and willing to put in the practice in, this is hands down one of the best vids out there. (P.S. The how to make your own chucks will last you a lifetime, u can even pass this knowledge down for generations to come). Perfect for all martial artists whose schools don't teach this, and non-martial artists who want to learn how to use nunchucks/nunchaku/nunchuku.

Ehh...
Ehh... that basically sums it up for me. The production quality doesn't matter that much to me , but the content is not what I was looking for. This is not "Freestyle", this is "How to play with sticks ". It's fun, but it has almost no Martial arts value. Thankfully I rented it...I would have been truly pissed if I had paid for this.

Out of the ordinary
I strongly prefer the practical and combative aspect of nunchaku; in fact, I rarely delve into freestyle. However, I hold this video in high regard. There are many rare skills taught in the video and the master shows them flawlessly. Whoever likes freestyle should definitely get this video. Plus, he shows you how to make your own pair of nunchaku witht the right measurements according to the user.

This video teaches the fundamental technique as well as the freestyle of nuncha including how to manipulate dual nuncha. The bonus on how to custom make your own nuncha is priceless!
