The best toy ever!
By far my dogs favorite toy… could it be treats inside? Likely, but she plays with it when it’s empty too.

My dogs favorite lasted 12 years!
I bought this for my dog when she was a puppy. We are waiting for our new one to arrive because the rubber is finally breaking down and getting little cracks around where the treats come out making it way too easy to get them out.

Best toy ever!
I have the small version of this toy for my dachshund, he has had it 4 years and it’s his favorite. He is a heavy chewer, and this toy has held up. He play with it all the time. We play fetch, gentle tug-of-war, and he chews it and play by himself with it all day. This toy travel with us everywhere, from camping to just a trip to visit family. I have recommended this toy to so many of my fur parents friends and family. They all love it. I can not say enough about this toy. My baby loves this toy.

Fun Design, Strong Smell
Overall I really like the design of this product and purchased it hoping my puppy would enjoy it. Unfortunately, I got a few interactive treat dispensing toys around the same time, and he really isn't interested in this one compared to the others. He'll play with it for a short while but will get board of it pretty quickly.Only downside of this product: It has a strong smell (somewhat like a chemical / floral smell). I was also curious about what it would taste like since I'm getting my puppy all of these different toys to put in his mouth. When I licked it (after washing it but before giving it to my puppy to play with) it left an aftertaste on my tongue for a long time that I did not enjoy. I wonder if that's why my puppy isn't as interested in this product. But I can't tell for sure.

My dog won't even go to bed without this toy.
I had to replace all of our hard plastic dog bones (of the popular brand) because they fractured six of my dog's teeth and she needed extensive dental surgery. She was pretty attached to those, we had several, and even though they had been seriously messing up her teeth the whole time, I was sad and worried that she would be bored without them. We've gotten this one in the past, maybe five or six years ago, and she did eventually pull it apart, although it took some time for her to figure out how best to do it. We are trying it again, now that she is absent a bunch of teeth and is a senior dog, it is working out really well. It's the toy she has the most independent fun with. It's really hilarious watching her play with this thing. She clearly has a blast. We break up treats to put inside or put her regular dog kibble in there. She can never quite get it all out, and has great fun trying. (Shaking her head back and forth, throwing it on the ground, holding it in her mouth and rolling around on the ground, nudging it so that it jumps/bounces around, giving it to me to throw on the ground.) She also constantly is bringing it to us to play tug with. (I don't pull too hard because the thin middle section seems like a weak point that could potentially rip.)Before she goes to bed, she needs to run around until she finds her toy, and then she happily trots off to bed with it. She seriously snuggles in bed with this toy, she loves it so much.Based on my past experience I would say if your dog is a very strong chewer, give them your attention when they're with this toy in case they rip some of it off. There are ridges that they can eventually grip and rip off. Or just get a black Kong or GoughNut. This time around though, this toy is her absolute favorite -- and it's our household's favorite too since it is so entertaining to watch her have so much fun!

Sturdy chew toy, but used very little by pet
This is very durable. It is currently being gnawed on by about a 35 pound Australian Shepherd puppy. The balls on either side are hollow to place small treats/kibble in. There are rubber filaments that can be permanently cut to allow slightly larger bits out. The dog has to be fairly intent on getting to the treat as they do not just easily tumble out. This is a slightly flexible chew toy. Think rubber tire and not hard nylabone type material. Since Jenna is a less aggressive chewer, this works for her. Our dog is not a destructive chewer and saves that activity for my plastic planters. >:(If you have a monster sized dog with rock crushing jaw strength, I am not sure this would work for your pet. It does work for ours though. It has a bit of a clove or cinnamon fragrance to it though. And it is a fairly strong, spicy fragrance that you notice immediately when you open the shipping box. Not unpleasant, but could be something that might be unpleasant to a dog's sensitive senses.Jenna has played with this just a couple of times and shows no real interest in it even filled with her favorite treats. No idea why. Could be the scent. She just seems to prefer plush toys over the hard toys.I ended up purchasing a couple of appropriately sized puppy kongs and stuffing them according to her skill level and she will gnaw on those forever but rarely touches this toy. We are keeping this toy, but definitely would get several kongs over this. You can look up different ways to stuff them/freeze them to keep your pet busy.

Great value
I got 2 of these originally for my previous 2 German shepherd dogs, one did care for it, the other loved it like no other. She would put it in my lap and wait silently for to refill it. It took her a hot minute to learn that she can throw it around to get the treats out of the ends, it was quite the ah ha moment for her when it clicked. Now fast forward those dogs have passed, and I have a mastiff now, and I've been struggling with finding things to engage her, she won't play fetch, or really anything. I got this again for her, she won't chew on it, but if I put small enough kibble where they fall out of the ends by her pushing it around, she will chase it around for an hour or so. It's rather use again in that regard.

Good toy but too big
We bought this as a back up for our dogs fabourite toy (which is a slightly smaller version). It seems to be too big for her, so she still prefers the smaller one. She likes to tug with it and she can’t fit this one in her mouth. She will use it to get the treats out, but so far, that’s really it. It is made well though, and she might go more for it once the other one is destroyed.

Wonderful toy for my lab!
Our lab loves this toy, and went five years without damaging it. The treats or kibble, whatever you like to fill it with, make the dog work for them, but they do come out, avoiding frustration and loss of interest in the toy. We do agility with her, and this is the toy that she gets the most excited with.
