I hate syrup that tastes like tree
So, you know, I grew up on Aunt Jemima. Maple syrup is weird to me. It tastes like tree. But, maple syrup is so much better for us than corn syrup and all that stuff. I always put cinnamon on my pancakes and french toast and waffles anyway, and this is the perfect balance of tree and cinnamon, meaning the cinnamon level is good, and is enough to mask the "bark" flavor for me.

Yummm!
I love this syrup. I use it in my glazes when I smoke hams. It gives just a bit of spiciness. I have used it on pancakes as well but I use peanut butter instead of butter and I must say the taste is extremely complimentary. You can really smell and taste the maple.

Perfect blend of sweet and spicy.
While it is a bit on the pricier side, this syrup is an absolute favorite of mine. It's such a nice blend of sweet maple with that small kick of heat sneaking in afterwards to warm your throat. I would venture to say it's not for little kids (unless yours are used to peppery spice), which works great in our house because it means it ends up as the adult "gourmet treat" syrup in contrast to the usual breakfast syrups that the kids use. It's just a shame it's hard to find in the local grocery stores but at least there's Amazon.

Perfect mix of sweet and heat.
Great on pancakes, waffles. Experimented by adding a little bit to pulled pork sandwich and even to my morning coffee.

Not very hot
The flavor was okay, but the heat was severely lacking, it wasn't anywhere near habanero, I barely felt it.
