Enid Blyton's Adventure Collection x 8 Books Pack 2021

It was in perfect condition.

Loved these books since I was 10 years old. Was happy to find them still in print. I am still enjoying reading them as adult.. The parrot in the story is always getting the children in trouble with what she says.

I grew up reading Enid Blyton books, so I was very happy to get these for my grand niece and nephew. Apparently, they love having their Mum reading the books to them at bedtime!

I read these books when I was a kid, and it is great to be able to read this now with my seven year old. She loves these as well as the other Enid Blyton book series. Some of the language and gender roles are a little weird to read now, but it is to be expected.

I just received my set of "Adventure" books - they arrived beautifully packaged and in perfect condition, thank you so very much !!!!!! I am interested to see that the MSRP per book is £6.99 - I recall buying the smaller books (e.g. Magic Faraway Tree) in hardback, as a child, for 15 pence from WH Smith. Ah, those were the days.

I read this set of books when I was in “intermediate school” in Kenya (1964-65) and bought them for my grandchildren who were very thrilled by the adventures.

While the stories were a delight to read when I was a child, I was disappointed to receive the 2007 edition instead of the 2021 edition pictured here, which is what I ordered. The 2021 edition was important to me as I am using these books for teaching and research into children's literature and the revisions and illustration are particularly important for me. I won't be returning the set as it would take too long to receive a replacement. Hugely frustrating.

Had them as paperback versions by DTV in German. I loved them much, saved my pocket money to buy tgem or had them for my birthday, easter present or for Christmas. They haven't lost one single bit of their charm.

Wonderful adventure stories and beautifully written as only Enid Blyton can do. I grew up reading her books and now my grandson is enjoying them as much as I did,
