My Favorite Carp Hook So Far
I am a newbie fishing for carp (other species I have many decades). I started by using thinner #6 octopus hooks and some of the carp were straightening out my hook. It could be because my drag was set wrong, but I bought these and loaded them up with corn and caught several 10 and 15# plus carp. I turned around and ordered 3 more packs. Are they best hooks? I don't know yet, but they are a great hooks until I find something else, but right now I am sticking with these. They are perfect for what I do, no hair-rig, corn on the hook small split shot and wait.

It bent. Poor quality. Not the gamakatsu quality I know.
Poor quality. It bent... I only use gamakatsu hooks. Their octopus and baitholders hooks never let me down. Didn't think twice about buying their carp hooks. Now I regret it. It bent. Picture says it all.
