I have bought 3 of these this year (Feb, April and October). I was initially pleased with the brightness, battery life and array of fittings supplied. However, it has become clear that the product is not suitable for use in any wet weather, which renders it near useless for most commuters.After each exposure to heavy rain the light has failed within 1-2 days. I have always used the light fitted correctly with the rubber protective backing, snuggly fitted the correct way. This has not saved the device.You can see in my picture above the internal moisture that accrued after only a few days use. The device will now on switch on or charge, as has happened with the previous 2 lights. I am now relagated to using a very cheap but much more reliable Halford's light (shudder).If I could be sure of the British weather, I would say it was more than decent for the price but sadly that is not the meterological or technological reality.

These past few months I have been pleasently suprised by the performance of these Apace Vision Bicycle Rear Lights, not just in how much light they produce - with just one of these fitted you will be seen, so the effect is even better with two - but, more importantly, it is with their imperviousness to the worst that British weather can throw at them that impresses me most.The amount of money that I have spent on rear lights is galling, especially considering that to get a decent amount of light out of one you have to spend big money. A couple of years ago I bought what the manufacturer said would be the last rear light I would ever need - 2 weeks later it went on the blink and eventually they replaced it - and then that one failed... and then someplace down the line they said that I should try to not get it wet... interesting concept from a British company... a light you can only use in the summer when anybody who lives here knows we don't get much of that and at least 133 days of each year it will rain somewhere close to if not on you.Buy this Apace Vision Light now. The only fault I can find with it is that they supply them with two rubber beds you should attach to them when you put them on your bike and you do get two of these, but it makes more sense to put 2 blobs of super glue on to hold the first in place permenantly. Apart from that this light is absolutely brilliant and I just hope that one day Apace do a front light as well.

I have one of these (or at least very similar) for a number of years and been really pleased with it. They are small and light, easy to fit but give good brightness/visibility options with good battery life (I got 6 hours easily on the lower intensity settings)The original one started to show reduce battery life so I have replaced with a like for like as best as I could. This is I think the same - certainly the design is almost identical (but there are quite a few lights of these with similar design about)This model is almost the same but is a new flash mode (more of a pulsing flash than a pure on/off) and I think the brightest modes are now brighter - these are improvementsThey are easy to fit for me - either seat post or seat stay works for me depending on bike and the 3 sizes of band cover these options wellSo far happy and previous positive experience means was happy to get this

SORPRESA!!!! y con mayúsculasNada mas abrir el paquete mi sorpresa es que viene usada y sucia por fuera, pero sobre todo por dentro, sin ningún anillo de sujeción y sin el cable de carga.La pediré de nuevo y si viene bien la probaré y daré mi opinión al respecto.Amazon muy bien en la entrega y fecha descritas.Espero que el vendedor tenga más cuidado al mandar el producto la próxima vez y que revise su propia mercancía, este tipo de cosas no le beneficia en absoluto.

Fitted to a road bike for 1 to 2 hour fitness rides in daylight or half-light - it is so bright it acts as a good daylight running light. Cars do slow down behind me. I use in pulse or rapid pulse mode. These lights are incredibly bright - too bright to look at directly. For my purpose or for attaching to a bike for occasional use they are great (we have two).For commuting you might prefer the pro version which carries a water resistance rating (and costs more), or better still an alternative that snaps onto a bracket. I can sympathize with those reviewers with lower rankings complaining the rubber comes unattached too easily (best keep it all together in the little pouch provided off the bike). Despite this I am giving them 5* as they meet all my expectations.
