The Sunflower

All of Richard Paul Evans books are heartwarming and inspiring. I was introduced to his books when I read The Walk series. The 5 book series told a wonderful story of tragedy and healing. They even inspired me to take trips where I walked hundreds of miles. LOVE Richard Paul Evans!

A wonderful story. You cry and you will laugh. I Love Richard Paul Evans books. He is a great story teller. Would love to see this as a movie.

A beautiful story of two people fighting for children who are victims of being abused and finding love. I cried a lot throughout this book.

Is it fiction or a true story? It’s very exciting and inspiring. I felt like I was truly there! Graphic descriptions and a heart-wrenching story. A super Summer read.

This novel tells an inspirational story about a mission in Peru and a surprising romance between two people who come from very different life styles. It is an uplifting story that reveals truth about the fate of children in third world countries who are without family to protect them.

The Sunflower is an excellent book. Richard Paul Evans is a wonderful author. The books are very interesting. They keep you wanting to continue reading until the whole book is finished. This book was so good because it had love and charity and down to earth real peoples feelings and everyday life. Since I've stated reading his books I want to read all of them. This book is one that everyone should read. It could change the way you look at life. It gives you a reason for going on.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much when I read this book. It is definitely a book a female audience might appreciate more than a male one, but it's a surprisingly romantic and sincere novel just the same. It was a page turner, and it allows the reader to escape into the lives of people living a selfless lifestyle in quite a raw environment. I enjoyed the escapism I experienced while reading it. It made me want to pack my suitcase and have an adventure. This book read a bit like a romantic movie. It had everything from adventure to little kids to illness to a hot man who selflessly dedicates his life to helping children and, of course, to love. That being said, I would recommend this book to anyone looking for an easy, entertaining read with a bit of depth to make the story and characters a bit more well-rounded and fleshed out rather than 2-dimensional stereotypes. It was a bit of an obvious story-line, but sometimes I am in the mood for obvious told in a different way. The author succeeded in doing that.

Easy read. Richard Paul Evans is a wonderful real life writer. Emotional and inspiring.

My favorite book of all time!

One of my favourite authors has done it again. Takes you from a life in the US to Peru where children are being used for illegal trade. How a small orphanage plays such a major role in helping street kids. It also gives you an insight into a beautiful human love story between the major characters in the story. I definitely recommend this one.

Good reading. Christian writer with inspiring story. Amazing ending!!I like anything I have read from Richard Paul Evans. this is probably one of my favourite.
