Nice clear container
I use them for bags of mixed candy for my students. It works well for this purpose. Students can see the candy they would like and it seals up well. Plastic is a bit thin but so far, so good.

Ok for dry Goods
As others stated these are very thin plastic (think 2L soda bottle thin). I may even cut one apart to measure to see the actual thickness, but it's similar. For dry goods I think these are perfect (think cereal) I was going to use for liquid, and will go with a thicker plastic container, I don't trust these with my cat's claws. Right now I'm using an Arizona gallon tea jug, and the plastic is at least 2x as thick. I don't know if the lid would seal if these were stored side ways, so again I would only recommend for a dry container. A few of my corners were also dented, and will not pop out. If I have time I may cut it up to measure, but lesson learned, could have bought a rubber maid container for the same price.
