Very happy with this purchase and this product
I just received this item on 10/11/19. I was able to cut my 2X4s (using untreated lumber because of putting this inside the garage) and assemble it in less than an hour. And because this is being used in the garage , I loved the flexibility to build this to a custom size to fit in a specific spot between an entry door and a closet door. (My horizontal 2X4s are cut to 42".) Because of the narrowness, I went tall and cut my vertical pieces at 84" so I was worried about stability and the lean factor. For added stability I took another reviewer's suggestion and framed in around the top of the structure with more 2X4s. I screwed 1X3 furring strips across the top to create a shelf where I keep newspaper and fire-starting materials.[Note: Using 84" x42" dimensions for my 2X4s (and including the loss of space caused by framing in the to) my final inside dimensions for filling with wood is 35" X77"...which is enough room for over half a face cord (.58485 to be exact.)]I filled the rack with wood and pushed and pulled on it to test for sturdiness and I am entirely satisfied.I am noticing that because the floor is slightly sloped (there is a floor drain in the center of the garage) the rack has an ever-so-slight forward lean. While testing the rack, I noticed that if I really wanted to, it would not be hard to push the rack right over onto the car. This is not a bad thing because no one will ever do that. However, I am opting to use door shims or something similar to make this stand a little straighter. Some reviewers have complained about bent 2X4 sockets and having to shave down their 2X4s to fit. I did not have this problem as mine fit right in nice and snug. (Maybe treated wood is more swolen? Not sure.)Some other reviewers also noted a problem with the welds on this unit saying they were barely tack welded. Mine were welded just fine (although they did not run the bead all the way across the individual sections. It was more like two short beads with a gap in the middle...but nonetheless well constructed and I am sure there will be no issues with that.Bottom line: Well made product, rugged enough to last 50 years (inside the garage), nice and sturdy, easy to assemble (screws included even though I used slightly larger ones), customizable, and no issues whatsoever with it, I have to say I can heartily recommend this to anyone wanting to create a custom log rack. Obviously I'd use treated lumber if it was going outdoors and I can't really tell the quality of the steel so I suppose there is the chance of a rust issue in wet environments if you don't watch for that.

Excellent DIY Rack
The bracket is sturdy, but a little more narrow than I expected. Really not an issue as it does the job. I cut pressure treated 2x4's to the size I wanted, slid them into the brackets and used the included screws to secure. Easy. Make sure you do both bottom rails one end at a time. If you do both ends of one rail and then try to do the next, you may have issues trying to get the other bottom rail to slide in. There are no instructions with the brackets. It is pretty simple, so if you pay attention, you really don't need any. Mine is 6' long by 4' high. I didn't want to make it any longer or higher from a stability standpoint, but I suppose you could. With wood stacked up to the top it makes for a pretty good pile. I have more wood than this one will hold at that size, so I will probably get another set of brackets at some point.

Very heavy duty
The construction of these brackets is very good. Heavy gauge steel, properly welded, and the paint finish appears to be quite robust (too early to tell). Assembly was hampered only because of my lumber, not the brackets. The pressure treated studs I bought were swollen with moisture making them a bit thicker than the expected 1.75". I had no trouble reducing the thickness of my boards but this may be a stumbling block for people who lack the appropriate tools.

Seems good quality.
The product seems strong but I won’t know for several months. The box did not include the 24 screws described as included.

Sturdy, time saver, and works!
I have an enclosed woodshed with 3 concrete walls and a rolling garage door. I ordered 2 sets of these and only use them for one side of the stack. The back concrete wall acts as a bookend for the other side. I used 7ft 2x4 for the verticle and 5ft 2x4 for the horizontal and it works amazing. I have about 5 cord in the room now and these brackets made the work so much faster. Rather than having to take the time to build the end with alternating wood pieces, I could just throw the wood on the pile. Set up was a breeze. I used outdoor 1 1/4" screws. Why didn't I find these brackets sooner!

Super sturdy and easy to put together!
If you are looking for a sturdy rack for your wood this is it! I can’t say enough how simple this was to assemble and how much better it is that the flimsy metal racks we have had in the past. Do not let having to get 4 pieces of lumber from the box store detour you. It’s freaking so simple. They have treated wood there already cut to all different lengths and if they don’t have what u want they will cut it for you! Did I mention how easy and sturdy this is! Seriously I can’t begin to tell u how happy we are we did this. We are not handy people AT ALL. This was a breeze. We got 8 feet for length and 4 feet for the height. That hold a cord or a ric whatever u want to call it. Do not hesitate to get this!

Nice brackets
Nice solid metal brackets for a firewood rack. The included screws could be a little better but they do the job. Larger wood screws would be better but a simple fix if you choose to not use the ones included. I bought two pairs of brackets to have a closed in square rack rather than and open top

Survived a 7.1 earthquake
I don't normally write reviews, but I thought this deserved mention. We had just filled a 8' long, 4' high rack using this braces to the absolute brim with firewood, raising the whole rack a bit off the ground with cinderblocks, when our town got rocked by back-to-back 6.4 and 7.1 earthquakes. We lost a single log off the top. That answered all my lingering questions about sturdiness. We bought two more sets for some freshly-cut wood. (For the record, we used pressure-treated lumber and applied a sun/water sealant to the lumber as we live in the desert which can be really rough on wood.) Easy to assemble, felt wobbly when empty, felt secure when filled. The ability to customize length to your area is a great feature. Great product.

Easy to put together
The ease it was to put together used 6 foot 2x4 and put a 1/4 cord of wood on it that filled it to about 1/2 full

Works just fine
Very easy to assemble and a very well made and sturdy product. I used 2 six foot 2x4 for the base and 4 four foot 2x4 for the sides. Easy peasy.
