Learned some incredible new things and it is amazing how it translates to our own bodies as well! It's a must read!

Great book quick easy read packed with better understanding on health of our pets

it just outlines the big topics with not practical discussion, all chapters point you to a website for more info which his not helpful especially if you on an airplane.

Just like doctors, most vets tend to continue with the same practices they were taught in the the beginning. When new discoveries are made about common practices, a good vet will reconsider their methods and try alternatives when the situation warrants it. Most of all, like this book states, we need to consider what we do as pet owners that contribute to the diseases our pets are being afflicted with. Only a vet who is truly concerned with the health of your animal and not so much the health their pocketbook would tell you the things she does here. Dr. Sutter has many good things to say, if you love your animals, read this book.

This book presents information on non-traditional, holistic wellness and sickness therapies. It focuses on providing pets with the right food and veterinary care so that suffering and expensive emergency care can be avoided. It is excellent.

I purchased this book looking for practical recommendations for caring for my new puppy. I have read several books that discuss the state of the healthcare system, vaccinations, flea and tick meds, and processed dog food. This book offered no relevant studies, or practical answers, it was one long advertisement for her web site. I went to the recommended site and it offered subscriptions for telehealth sessions with their vets. She cited studies from the 1920’s very little current studies, no concrete actionable steps. Try “The Forever Dog”. Much better, more scientific information and actionable steps to take.

Great book . Lots of information. Confirmed my beliefs in holistic therapy . Good read .

Excellent info in an easy to read format. I especially liked the information on how cells work. Many people don’t have a clue about this, yet it’s so important to understand.
