Great range!
The media could not be loaded. I have recently had issues with neighbors parking in my parking pad. Apparently they think that since I don't own a car and can't see it through my fence, they have free rights to it, needing it for guests and tossing my trash and recycling cans around be danged! So I wanted something that would alert if someone came into my parking pad. This is no small request, since it's almost 100 feet from the rear of my home. This thing said it could work with that range, so I paired it up inside (IMPORTANT! do this!), then left my phone to record and went out to the parking pad to install it. What you're hearing in the video is it responding while I installed! So, range is good! About 100 feet and working flawlessly. It's actually inside a closed cabinet in this video (and permanently), so it's plenty loud. That was about 3 weeks ago. We've had a lot of freezing weather, and I happened to leave my dog camera on today while my housekeeper came (I actually didn't mean to, not trying to spy on the housekeeper while I'm at work). It caught it going off when he took out the trash. Batteries not dead after over a week of sub-freezing weather...great!It occasionally goes off in the middle of the night, but I chalk that up to alley cats or rats. I haven't had a daytime alert that wasn't someone throwing my cans into the alley in preparation to park, and was able to go out and tell them that this is private property and they need to leave. The sensor is discreet enough (I put it under my motion sensor light, so it looks like part of that!) that I don't think they've figured out how I know they're out there before they can park and run off...

Good little chime that does what it should.
Great little doorbell that does what we want.My store needed a new motion-activated bell after the last one kept startling guests. I picked this one on the theory that it between the volume control and huge number of chimes I'd be able to find ONE that would work. And I did! We're only on our third day with this chime but so far it's just what we needed.PROS:- The basic chime on this is really pleasant and hits that sweet spot where I can hear it but it doesn't startle guests.- The volume control has good range - the low is low and the high is high. I have a small store so we keep it on low but I like that I can adjust it up if I'm in the back.- It's nice to have the chime and sensor separate so it's closer to me rather than the guests walking in.CONS:- The range on the sensor is pretty wide which was problematic for my usage - it kept catching people walking by or browsing in the store. I cut a slit in a piece of paper and taped it around the sensor and also tucked it into a little nook next to the door and that fixed the problem. Obviously for those using this as a doorbell the wide range might be a benefit. For my purposes it needed some modifications.- The sensor unit requires either a mini-usb cord or 3 AAA batteries, neither of which it came with. Not a huge negative but something to be aware of if you want to use it as soon as it arrives.LIST OF TUNES:For those who, like me, want to know exactly what they're getting. I'm not terribly musical so I'm sure some of the tunes I've listed as "cheerful music" are super-popular and recognizable. Sorry. I didn't recognize them. Also all the music is very MIDI and nostalgic for those of us who grew up on early 90s video games. Full symphonies they are not. But the whole thing's less than $20; what did you expect? Also I only went through the whole round once so these are my first impressions.1. Basic "Bing-bong, Bing-bong" My favorite.2. Chiming "Bing-bong." Sounds like a grandfather clock.3. Fur Elise4. Big Ben's chime5. Doorbell chime followed by, "How are you, please. Open the door." in a female voice6. Polka Music7. Cheerful music with a bird chirping in time. Very child-toy like.8. Doorbell "bing-bong" three times9. Cheerful little folk tune10. "Santa Clause is coming to town"11. Video game music12. Doorbell followed by greeting in Japanese? I think? I'm fairly sure I heard "Arigato"13. Classical Music14. Chiming doorbell followed by something very much not English.15. "Jingle Bells"16. Cheerful tune17. Bird chirp in rhythm. SUPER annoying.18. Beethoven's 5th?19. Doorbell followed by "Hello" in a male voice20. "Ode to Joy"21. Cheerful tune22. Cheerful tune (long)23. "Happy Birthday"24. Classical tune (can't quite name)25. (Customer interrupted at this point so missed it. Something musical)26. Nutcracker Suite27. "Happy Birthday" with a bit more of a flourish than the previous rendition28. "Oh My Darling Clementine"29. Familiar music30. "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star"31. Cheerful, short tune32. Music.33. "London Bridge"34. "Memories"35. Familiar tune36. Music37. Waltz tune38. Russian dance music

I've had this for 6 months and here is what I think of it
What's not to like it works ! I purchased this for my porch and it works flawlessly. I wrote this review for anyone that has doubts about this product. Easy to install , dependable and loud. I installed this in my kitchen and can hear this throughout the house. I use this in combination with my security cameras to know who is at the door the moment they step on my porch. Great ! I'm going to buy another one for my tool shed in my yard.

Fifth Motion Doorball I've tried and the first to actually work!
I tried several other motion-detecting doorbells and none of them worked (the original I purchased or the replacement when I filed that it was defective). This one, I plugged in and it worked perfectly as expected. I did spend hours messing with it trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. It just worked.Enhancements:* Additional designs/colors would be a nice option to have* Beef up the directions. They are a bit too sparse. I didn't need them, but IF something didn't work as expected I would have been out of luck.* The markings on the buttons are difficult to see (used the push it and find out method).* If you wanted to expand the directions to contain the number of volume levels and the rotation of the songs that would be a good move (instead of making my cycle through them to find a "ding-dong")

Annoying
It works and sounds great but it is super annoying when it just keeps going off for no reason. Either I have ghosts at my store or this thing is to sensitive

Did the trick!
Very pleased with the quality and sound of this door chime. We were looking for a door alert that would allow us to know when a customer walked into a pay area not highly visible from all angles. It took less than 30 seconds to install and works beautifully. Allows for different settings of ring tones as well as sound level.Great quality and price!

This Is the Good One!
We have 5 different types and this one is the best. Good range, volume, sound variety, sensitivity and reliability. They are used to announce our dog at the back door and unwelcome vermin in the basement. ...can't imagine a day without these devices. Get one, or five.
