TUL Custom Note-Taking System Discbound Notebook, Junior Size, Leather Cover, Black

I love mine and use it for a bullet journal. I was using a Rhodia Webnotebook which was also fantastic, but I was on track to run out of pages well before the year ended, and wanted the option to re-arrange pages. This gives me both. The paper it came with was quite nice; I am spoiled to be coming from it after writing all year on the Clairefontaine paper that is in the Rhodia Webbie. I didn't try this paper with a fountain pen but suspect it would have no bleedthrough, little ghosting, and likely minimal feathering (depending on your nib and ink of course).I ended up buying half sheets of 32lb copy paper, printing my own dot grid on it, and buying the somewhat expensive hole punch so I could avoid having to buy pre-punched refill pages. Works perfectly, and the hole punch (around $35) will pay for itself after my first about 110 sheets, since 50 sheets of refill paper for this thing is a ridiculous $16.All in all a bit of an investment up front for a notebook, but the system is great and will serve me for many years, I suspect.

It is a great system!

This Discbound notebook resolves my biggest issue - being forced into either allocating some number of pages or constraining notes (by date) to 1 page/day, etc. Discbound is similar to a 3-ring binders in moving pages, adding pages, and sorting without the constant snapping Open/Closed for every little thing you change, and in a more compact size. Need more pages - add some. Pages not ordered how you'd like - reorder easily. Don't need pages - remove them or archive them. Getting too much material - get bigger rings and continue to use the covers. Care to individualize? Plenty of rings in different materials and colors. And it lays perfectly flat. Should've moved into these long ago.

Product was fine. My work provided one for free so didn’t need this one. Tried to cancel order before it shipped and it wouldn’t process and now I have to pay almost $6 to send it back.

Structured and smooth

I use this as a daily planner and added larger rings along with more inserts. This has a great look and feels very smooth. Smells of leather every time I take it out of my bag. Love this cover. I do with the front pockets we’re going in the together direction and a few more would be great.

I don’t know where disc-bound systems have been my whole life. It’s so easy to use. Would definitely recommend.

This leather cover looks very professional and I love the flexibility of the TUL system with the removable/replaceable paper and dividers. I recommend this for work.
