Excellent quality - so glad I went with this wired model vs the battery powered car vacs out there as this vacuum really picks up! Dirt, dust, sand, rocks, leaves etc - nothing left behind and easy to clean. Also the compact size and carry case makes it so it never needs to leave my vehicle as it can easily stow beneath a back seat of my SUV.

Pros:- Long cord- Rather strong suction- Supplied a filter cleaning brush- Filter is washable- Included an extra filter (especially helpful when one filter is just washed and still drying!)- Versatile brush, extension and longer (~16") hose- Cute useful carrying/storage bag- Fairly easy to open and clean- The little lightCons:- The little light is only somewhat helpful in dark places- The brush doesn't always pick up (see narrative below)- Is somewhat loud and high-pitched- Hose/adapters has to be partially disassembled to fit in carrying bag.- Have to push firmly to latch the dust collector nozzle- The power switch is a bit hard to slide on/off, especially by thumb as designed.Unpack and tested - impressed with the metal impeller. Overall build is fairly good while still being light and nimble. The included brush is nice, although wish I could work out a way to use the brush without the extension. After the first cleaning, I returned to testing only to have the nozzle/dust collector fall off - it needs a firm push to latch back on - not a deal-breaker - I'll learn.I understand why others are really disappointed, as the bristles of the brush are too soft to dislodge pet hair on certain types of carpet (the "velour" plush carpet such as the stock carpet in a Toyota Camry) - the vacuum picks up grass debris and dirt really well off any surface. The small size of the nozzle does mean that you must work harder/longer sweeping back and forth to clean an area.It's still faster than dragging out an extension cord and household vacuum cleaner that gets awkward inside a car!After testing in my wife's Camry, I was considering returning it. However, I bought it for my camper van ("Curly-Wurly"). This vacuum works quite well, even on pet hair, on the Indoor/outdoor (recycled soda bottle) carpet that I have in my Ram van. The cord reaches the whole van from the central power outlet (maybe also from the dash outlet?).So, it is a great compromise of price and weight and power consumption (~9 amps / 120 watts), and it will work fine in my van. It is, however, likely to be replaced somewhere down the wish list of upgrades - I'll revisit the question and do more research somewhere down the road!

Great vacuum with a carry bag is unbeatable it comes with 2 filters one is already installed inside and the other is in package not a very big item perfect for cleaning the car and the attachments lock in so no worries of always disconnected hoses

Looking for a 'This Worx' substitute, and this came pretty close for half the price of they're s with the light. First thing you'll notice is the cord construction. The base unit cord is already at an angle on unpacking, so a piece of leather tape or wire from bread wrappers will keep it from bending and eventually shorting with a brand new machine.....again. Second , there's a bright light that gets in you're andeyes so a piece of thick duct tape, so you can see what you're doing. Other than that 3 for 5......not bad power either. Fix that cord thicker at the base and plug.....focus that light with reflection and it's a 5 for 5 all day long.

Ok, so this is the 2nd car vacuum I've purchased in probably a year? The last one (a different brand by a different seller) felt like it had decent suction when you put your hand over the hole but ultimately couldn't clean all the little sand bits and dirt off of my floor. That was a disappointment.When I opened this I was afraid of the same thing. Turned it on, suction seemed good with the hand test, but to my surprise it actually worked quite a bit better than the other brand. This one got all the dirt, dust, pebbles, etc. I had to empty the dirt cup a few times, but I hadn't vacuumed my car all winter and the puppy had been tracking dirt in like he was getting paid for it.I'll admit that when I opened the package I was less than thrilled to see it needed to be plugged into the auxillary power outlet (or for those of us that grew up in the 90s- the cigarette lighter hole), but the cord is crazy long (it easily reached my trunk by going around the outside of the car) and plug power is probably why it works as well as it does (my old one was battery powered).The dirt cup doesn't make an audible click into place, so I wasn't sure I was getting it back on there right the first few times, but it continued to work so I am assuming I did.Overall, I'm pleased with this product. My husband is less pleased, but only because he can now clean my car from home. Haha! I'll be keeping it in the trunk to make sure it is always handy.

This little vacuum packs a lot of power. I can’t believe how much dirt it picked up, & my car wasn’t very dirty.My car tends to accumulate a lot of fir needles. They can be hard to vacuum up because they embed into the carpet. I was wondering whether this would be up to the task but it did the job like a little champ! Plus dirt, leaves, & gravel.As has been said in other reviews, this has a very long cord which can reach the whole car ( even the back) with some left over.It’s very small & lightweight but has a large collector cup. Having 2 filters is a nice feature.It is very easy to put together ( I did it without the directions). Everything snaps together very tightly.I give it 5 stars because even with the good reviews it exceeded my expectations.
