It is a GASOLINE internal combustion engine so makes noise but it is no way loud. It purrs when it is revved by the throttle. If it is half as loud as a normal lawn mower I would be guessing high. You will not object to the noise level. No instructions on assembly!!!! Go on line for the PSRTS LISTS and here you will find where all the bolts ho. GREAT PRODUCT. Very well engineered and executed.

Q: What is the slowest speed for the KT 100? I don't want my son going too fast while learning to ride.

If the throttle limit screw is all the way in, it was peaking out around 10mph on level lawn grass, with a 60 pound rider.

Q: Is it good for in the country? Will heavy use break it?

We have two that our grandsons have riden hard since Christmas. We live in the country and they don't use pavement. We have had to replace a few parts but keep receipt and they will send you what you need under warranty to you. We have used it twice.

Q: What is it’s top speed in mph

I don't know but it is too fast in the slowest speed the clutch will engage in with the standard gearing, and it will be plenty fast when I put the throttle position screw in the fastest position. You will need to ask someone with older kids who is running flat out.,
