Lucien Piccard Cosmo Automatic Men's Watch LP-15071-RG-01

I normally don't buy watches with leather straps attached to them, but in this case I made an exception when I bought my first Lucien Piccard Ottoman watch on a different site and loved how it looked. The quality control of the watch was really well made. So when I saw this watch on sale I decided to pull the trigger and buy it. Let me tell you something about the Lucien Piccard Cosmos, although the watch is made in China, the quality and movement control of this watch is exceptional. I know some people will say well Chinese watches are crap and no good. Just because it was made in a different region not known for their quality control does not mean a gem can pop out once in a while. This happens to me one of them, I enjoy watching the 2 balance wheels running in zync. When you put the watch close to your ear you can hear both wheels clicking away in perfect zync motion like if you where hearing a cricket chirp back and forth. The leather strap is made of calfskin which is real leather and of good quality, the watch itself looks really good, I happen to put a few pictures to show off the watch, now the pictures I took don't give it justice as the watch looks fantastic in person. As I mentioned earlier I'm not a big fan of watches with leather straps so I replaced the strap with a rose gold steel strap and with it the watch looks like a true gem. The leather straps you see there are what came with the watch, the rose gold stainless steel band I got separately.

The watch arrived with a serious defect in in which the minute hand was loose could not be adjusted. Had to send it back for a refund.
