An inexpensive way to own a Damascus steel bladed knif
I received both knives the next day after my order and was very pleased with the knives !I loved the brass construction and the blue wooden scales of the body of the knife as well as the beautiful patterns in the blades !I also loved the design of the "lock back" blade locking mechanism that extends along the top of the blade, that took some work !According to the Amazon ad, the blades are comprised of 267+ layers of two high-carbon steels and nickel... And since there is no stainless steel involved, the price can be kept relatively low... And each blade has an unique pattern !The blades are quite sharp... The "lock-back" mechanism is pressed at the back end of the knife to release the knife blade which can then be closed...I am very happy with my purchase !

NOT damascus steel, but still a beauty
So just to get the 1 con out of the way... the one I received is not actually a true damascus steel blade, it is some kind of printed image on the blade. That aside it is still a solidly made little beauty. Also the leather belt pouch that came with it is very well made. If the blade had been true demascus steel this would be a 5 star knife, and I still do like it regardless.

Eh
It's a good knife for everyday use but Def not Damascus steel rusts wait to easily and bent the tip very easily but for the price it is what is I get to leave my real Damascus blade at home and carry this with me

beautiful wood, and pattern of damascus is very cool, and pleseant.
i love the blue wood, the detail of the blade, functionality. I appreciate the amount of oil applied to prevent rust, and storage, however a little overwhelming for a gift, someone who might not understand knife care will be put off by the amount.Do not hesitate to buy, its from Pakistan, it certainly seems to captivate their craftmenship.

Wonderful gift for an anniversary!
Bought this for my husband, for our 5th wedding anniversary - ticked off the “modern” gift of silverware, and the “traditional” gift of wood. Plus blue is his favorite color, and we watch Forged in Fire, so the Damascus blade was amazing! He carries it every day, and it gets used a lot. Haven’t had any issues or dulling of the blade! The sheath it came with is great, and quality, but he generally just slips it in his pocket without the sheath.WARNING: it comes packed in oil, to keep everything nice, so be forewarned - I opened it and spilled it all over a kitchen towel. My bad, I wasn’t paying enough attention.

I love this Knife
I love this Knife! I've always kept a little pocket knife in my room for opening packages and for personal safety, but the one i had was laughable. This one however, is amazing! It has a nice weight to it, and the blue handle is really beautiful. The blade isn't to long to disadvantage the balance, and that Damascus design is beautiful. It came with a leather case also. It was covered in oil to prevent rusting which was nice, but not the hold is a little slimy but if you wipe it down its OK.
