Excellent addition to kibble. I have a 80 lb senior dog who is getting fussy about her meals. I give her one cube reconstituted with hot water or broth and reduce the amount of kibble to 3/4 cup. She also likes a little meal topper if I have any

My dogs love this food. I have noticed an improvement in my older dog's energy and overall demeanor. I still feed them a high quality kibble and fresh veggies, but this has been a great add in for one of their meals. I have 2 golden retrievers both over 50 lbs. I give them 3 "bricks" with their kibble each morning. It's been an easy transition and the improvement has been worth the extra money.

My extremely picky Boxer can only eat lamb, goat & fish. He's allergic to all other meats. It's so incredibly difficult to find a healthy, balanced, organic dog food, free of antibiotics and hormones in his preferred choice of allowable meat (lamb) that he will eat.We have tried all formulas and all premium brands, canned, wet, dehydrated, and air dried etc...My Boxer might take a brief interest in something and then out of nowhere reject it! But these, THESE are his tried and true favorite! he will enthusiastically eat these anytime, dry or otherwise. I am very relieved to have found this for my beloved dog! They are on the pricier side but at least i'm not throwing away full bowls of dog food anymore. *Our most recent order came in a different newly designed packaged. I was concerned that the formula had changed and I'd have an issue with my dog eating these.However, upon comparing the ingredients on the old bag with the new, I discovered that some of the ingredients further down in the list have been rearranged in order, meaning the amount of those ingredients has either been increased or reduced but the ingredients were still the same. Upon inspecting the actual nugget, they appear to be slightly smaller, firmer and a bit more golden in color. Luckily though, this did not make any difference to my Boxer! He was so excited when I opened the bag that he devoured 8 nuggets on the spot!

I'm so sad . I bought this for my dogs because I love them and I wanted to get them good food. One I had to put to sleep about 10 days ago. But at the time I didn't think that it was this food that was the problem. But now I know. I just bought more a couple days ago my other dog, and now she us acutely sick. I'm so sad and to make it worse I spent every single last penny I had trying to save my other dog and have nothing left to even take this dog to vet now. I'm so sad and angry at myself for letting this happen. This is how it evolved dog started having diarrhea, then dog started throwing up, then dog cant eat, lethargic, then can't drink, lab work reveals off the chart wbc, neutrophils as well. Radiographs show possible pancreatitis , gastrointitis but no one really knows. I took my dog for 2nd and 3rd opinions. The only way for them to figure out what's really going on, the only way that things may improve is exploratory surgery but guess what they say more than likely the chance of your dog making it through surgery and recovering is less than 30% .but without he will die for sure. My dog is now sitting on my mantle in ashes. He was completely fine prior to eating this food. I'm so angry at my self , my dogs are like my kids . I had no idea , it was the food. Now I know. My girl dog was completely fine before I started feeding this to her. I'm so hurt and angry at myself. I just bought a bag for her a couple days ago and she is laying beside me burning up not well . I have no money left to do anything cause I tried my hardest to fix my other dog.

My dogs decided to boycott all kibble and who would blame them after what I have seen and heard about kibble. After trying many different types of food the Primal Peonto was there pick. They like the beef and lamb flavors. I have yet to try the other flavors on them. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive. The price is why it did not receive a five star review. You sure don’t get much for the money.

Great toppers on kibble for any size dog. I break them up, add water and my pittie and malamute husky mix eat their food right up. Easy to break up with hands or scissors and easy to store bag on counter.

Love the Primal freeze dried foods so much, however my four legged babies (Sam and Solomon) really LOVE it! Historically my canine babies (Italian Spinonis) are very picky eaters, however every single time I offer this whether for a dinner meal or a midday snack, they inhale them! It’s incredible, actually! I feel great about the quality of this diet (so rich in protein) being a balanced and wholesome diet free of additives, from cage free animals! It is exactly what I look for in their food. Theres no odor to the food, and it’s easily digested as they have the most regular tummy (bowel) history of any of our pets to date. It’s a wee bit pricey, however, I was taught one gets what they pay for in a quality item. So, to me, for their health and happiness, I highly recommend giving it a try! We love it!
