I really wanted to like this... It's extremely low quality.
Not so good. The clips are practically useless and do not tighten around any glassware, tubes, vessels etc... They are all metal with a small piece of felt (that doesn't fit correctly) and it will absolutely scratch your materials as it is just a dab of glue holding it on. The tightening mechanism is just a wing nut on a bolt and and is EXTREMELY hard to tighten. In addition they are tact welded and one of the arms snapped with a slight amount of force under 5 lbs. The stand doesn't tighten into the base securely (loose bolts and nuts, NOT a threaded rod and base). The base is made of very cheap metal with sharp edges that ruined my wood table. Save your money and get a nice stand from a better company. Sorry everyone...

Cheap, shows, still a good value, works fine for your adult chemistry set
Base is not threaded. I recommend some thread lock. You might want additional adhesive (dab of epoxy) to ensure the post is completely secure. Remove with heat etc.And you might want to accommodate slightly imperfect flatness of the base.Accessory screw threads are crude. A tiny bit of grease will help significantly. But it's a good value for the small $ and as mentioned you can overcome many of the annoying shortcomings easily.

Toy Shop Quality Labware
As a professionally trained chemist my opinion is that this is flimsy and poorly designed...run away and buy something that supports your equipment Yikes!

great buy
already had a stand with arms but wanted more extensions for future chemistry projects and this totally suited all my needs .only thing is the knobs are a little flimsy feeling. but trust me they hold there weight. i put a full 1000ml boiling flask on the weakest one and it held it over night a full 12 hrs with no slipping. for the value it was totally worth it.the base is a little on the small size. so use a weight to counter weight for any crazy extensions or height the would tip it over. i had a base from a previous purchase the was more beefy and used that with a different bar. for my setupover all the purchase is worth it just for the amount of pieces you get

A GOOD PRODUCT
I am a teacher and purchased this stand to help do experiments in physics and chemistry. I am pleased with the price that i paid. the stand is sturdy and the parts lock well. i am disappointed that the clips do not hold a burette properly. I had to add another layer on to the clip to hold the burette properly. The wing nuts are also a bit hard to use ...so i think i will have to replace them. So far i am pleased with it.

Toy-quality gear. It's only one stand, unlike the photos show.
Photos for this product clearly show two stands. I expected to stands, but only one stand is included, and it's all pretty poor quality stuff. It's going back.

Loctite the threads
It's a solid stand for an ameuter setup. It's nothing special.I will say that it is worth using some blue loctite on the threads and tightening it down. It tends to come loose if you don't.

Keep shopping, nothing to see here.
Poor quality, lightweight small base, metal clamps weak, and get stuck when trying to open them requiring a third hand. Nut to secure the pole was cross threaded. Purchased for the assortment of holders but they're all crap.
