Its a very good laptop, 1
Its a very good laptop, 1.2 Kgs, pretty light. I think this would be a good choice for anyone who is buying a clg laptop or a laptop to browse, watch videos and run office. I bought this laptop about a month ago, i.e. may 1st week. so far I have no complaints. The battery life is satisfactory, screen quality is good. When compared to DELL XPS 13, which is about 200-400 bucks more expensive than ASUS 330, The only difference I observed was weight and smaller dimensions, other than that the speed is the same, also, ASUS has a fingerprint sensor. I don't think DELL XPS 13 is worth buying for the given pros and cons if it costs 200-40 bucks more. ASUS has a look like MacBook, which makes it stand out among other laptops. The sound quality is really appreciable. The laptop is very personalizable, Windows 10 makes it even better. DELL and HP wouldn't include these many features as in ASUS since they r world reckoned brands. But I don't think ASUS is bad.I would highly suggest someone buy this laptop if he or she r looking for fast functioning and portabilityHeading towards, small things, the ASUS keypad has its power button where the delete button is situated, which really got me in my first week of use. I pressed the powered button instead of the delete button several times, :p. Also, the from F1-F12, the functions need to be operated with the function key, which is a bit :/, but now I have got used to it, so no complaints about it. Other that that, the keypad is very userfriendly. You would have read that the mouse pad makes it hard for the mouse to move across the screen, but the thing is, we must increase he mouse sensitivity in the settings.BUY THIS LAPPY!!

This laptop is AMAZING..
This laptop is AMAZING... or t could be. I'm not sure if it's a manufacture issue or if I just got a bad one of the bunch, but I've had a hand full of ssues with mine. Some have been an issue since I first got this laptop a few weeks ago, some have developed overtime.Sound quality is about as good as can be expected from a laptop with speakers on the bottom, no problem, I knew what I was getting myself into, but I often times get a brief but loud buzz or screech kind of nose whenever I'm watching videos or listening to music. It happens sometimes only once or twce a day or it can happen over and over consistently for anywhere from five minutes to an hour.Another Issue I've run into is the screen flickering. As in going black for a fraction of a second at random. It's gotten better the more I use it, but given that I spent eight hundred dollars on this laptop it just doesn't feel like it should be an issue after only a few weeks. My biggest issue lies with the keyboard. Ever since I first got it the "M" key has been a real thorn in my side. It gets stuck easily and frequently almost as though the chassis wasn't bult to fit the key placement. Overtime however it has only gotten worse and I've noticed the keys around it often make a loud click as though they are getting stuck too. They aren't but again, for $800, it makes it seem like the laptop was cheaply made. Secondly, the "I" key has become an even bigger issue over time. It seems as though every day it requires more and more pressure just to make it process a single keystroke. I use this laptop for school and work so needless to say, I type on it almost every day and the keyboard is one place where for $800 I can't afford any issues.

Great traveler notebook
Hey,I bought my ASUS ZenBook UX410UA-AS74, 14”, i7-8550U (4 core) Up to 4.00GHz, 8GB DDR4, 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD, couple of days ago, from my perspective these are the Pro and Cons:PRO+ Screen is great, the colors are natural and the resolution enough, 14" screen into 13" body, it is a matte, anti-glare IPS screen with wide viewing angles+ The Lid hinges are sturdy enough to make Lid not wobble when you travel on train and when is in your lap,+ Laptop weight is 1.4 kg that means a great traveler laptop,+ Very responsive and fast loading programs,+ VERY QUIET laptop, no fan noise at all, (i made a BIOS upgrade) even before it was quiet,+ Nice keyboard, responsive and pleasant to type, better than other at the same price,+ Upgrade option are great for the next years,+ Touch pad is almost ideal for me, responsive, multi gesture, great dimension, nice clickCONS- Battery not as good as they describe, not able to squeeze more than 5h of life- Backlit keyboard is active by default, I prefer to be Inactive by default and activate on request,- Screen not bright enough for outside use- The charger brick should be plugged direct into socket, is better to have a cable between the socket and the charging brick

Great computer if you only use it for one memory intensive application at a time
Great screen, keyboard, sound, look, and feel. Phenomenal battery life. Constantly run out of memory. Only dinged one star since this is meant to be a very casual machine, but had to take something off because it's much worse than I expected in that respect.

Started out great but power/charging issues ruined the experience
I own several ultrabooks and have a lot of experience to compare this laptop with. I bought it because it was light, fast (enough for family), and was supposed to have great battery life. After opening it, I was impressed. It was just the right size and weight. The screen looked great! After spending a few hours tweaking the system it was quick and I was happy. However, when it came time to charge the device the second time, it would not charge. After playing with numerous power cords, I realized it was the machine. I spent 20 minutes with ASUS tech support and they offered an RMA. I didn't want a new board, I felt burned. Maybe it was bad luck? Maybe not. If only it would charge it would get 4.75 stars.
