Great silent heatsink
I have to say, I've very pleased with the ACIDALIE M.2 Heatsink. I looked up multiple NVMe coolers. This one had many good reviews. They weren't wrong.Build quality:The whole heatsink is heavy and appears to be well built. I was actually surprised at this, and tried very hard not to drop it on my motherboard.Noise level:The fan is silent. I've cranked it up to max speed 8500+ RPM and still couldn't hear it. I have it plugged into a fan PWM header on the motherboard so it'd be easy to adjust the speed (verses using the manual fan controller I added to my case). I decided to run the fan at 70% with gradual increase to 100% as the CPU heats up. I can't hear it anyway, and could have used 100% all the time, but thought it might last longer this way.Temperature impact:Using the "heatsink" cover that came with my motherboard with the NVMe drive in the M.2_1 socket, temperature was around 46 celcius when PC was idle. Switching to the ACIDALIE heatsink and my temp dropped to 40 degrees celcius according to the Samsung Magician software. But wait a minute, my x570 motherboard (Asus Dark Hero) has a second M.2 socket that's far enough away from my heat-generating graphics card. So a day later, I moved the M.2 drive to the M.2_2 socket (it has the same specs as the first M.2 socket). As I type this, the drive is reading 37 degrees celcius. On a side note, these numbers are in Summer during a heat-wave so I'm hoping the temp will be better come winter.Final thoughts:Best $30 bucks I spent in a long time. I did rotate the heatsink 180 degrees so the fan is blowing in the other direction, but thats just a personal preference.

Good find
Does a good job of keeping temps down, well built, I like it better at $24.95.

Fantastic performance
Well made, high performance cooler. Over 10 C cooler than my other drives under full load.

Performs well but heavy
This heatsink performs extremely well and works for my open case, but it is heavy and over time may cause trouble as it sags on the motherboard. My idle temp is 21°C and with crystaldiskmark maxed out the highest was 31°C.

Fits perfect, No interference
Fits perfect, easy to install! And yes it lowers the temperature of the chip. See BIOS

20 degree lower on load
My motherboard: Gigabyte x570 aorus masterTemperatures:Gigabyte x570 Aorus master original cooler -------> idle: 44 C , on maximum load: 65 CACIDALIE M.2 Heatsink -------------------------------> idle: 31 C , on maximum load: 45 CFan: PWM Fan RPM is to high, but there is no sound, it reaches 4500 RPM and its silent.Quality: The heatsink fence is thick, it gives you the quality feeling.Included thermal pads: I did not fix included thermal pads; because it feels its like a gum, it was so sticky to it's protector film. I used ARCTIC thermal pads instead. The thickness of the thermal pads is 1mm .

Very significant improvement in temps
Without this my Sabrent Gen3 4TB m.2 would reach almost 150f under load and with these, they never break 100... 50 degree F difference!

Quality throughout.
Active cooling makes the difference, 20C lower on max load compared to the passive heatsinks I've tried. Looks great installed and the gunmetal color looks cool. Wish the blue silicon thermal pad was in one piece. Recommended.
