Great varnish!
I’m not a good painter but I LOVE this varnish for my paintings. Give it a slight gloss and makes me feel more confident and relaxed about having them around and about.

Good to use
I use this medium to do several different things in my mixed media works. I mix it in with my paint to give some sections different texture and I also use it to seal a finished piece. I would say it is a good medium. It didn’t blow me out of the water or anything, but it does get the job done. I would say I prefer it over the crappy hobby lobby or micheals store brand version if that helps anyone narrow it down. Typically I use liquitex professional or golden mediums to seal when I am finished but those can be rather expensive so I would looking for different alternatives.I would recommend you try it to see if it gives you a look you might like. I think that is a huge things with art supplies. Everyone likes specific things and trying them is about the only way to know your preferences.

Great for Distressing and Thinning Paints as Well As Top Coating
I used to use water to thin my acrylic paints until I tried this Creative Inspirations Acrylic Medium Polymer and Varnish. It allows me to thin my paints to achieve a less watery and more smooth but less opaque paint. I like to use this to thin my paint when I am distressing a piece. I get the more translucent look with more body and ability to move the paint around. I am still working with this to perfect my technique but it's working really great and I like the way it can extend paints that are thicker while still allowing for coverage. It's similar to using a nail polish thinner when polish starts getting a bit thick if you will. This also makes a nice water based varnish with a nice gloss finish. Works great for projects where there isn't a huge amount of ventilation so that I can continue to paint without leaving the room because of fumes.Overall, I think this is a good alternative to using water when mixing paints and thinning paints to get more translucency as well as giving items a nice top coat.
