[NEW REVIEW]HOTO contacted me a couple of months later to issue a refund so I could purchase a new item. I did exactly that and the new one works great, really wanted a tool like this, it's great for precision works.[OLD REVIEW]Have other HOTO products and thought the bad reviews were bad units, but worst experience so far. Charged it full for first use, afterwards it worked as a trial, got it back in the box. 2 weeks later going to use it and completely dead, charge would blink red and nothing happens. Contacted HOTO with no response from their side. Didn't get to use it once, so not buying HOTO ever again.

This is a great little screwdriver. The magnet in the screwdriver holds the (very large selection of) bits in very well, the case is very compact and holds bits and the screwdriver itself very well, and it's met my needs for most electronics repair or device assembly.However, the torgue isn't all there. If you're gonna be trying to pull out screws that were over-tightened, good luck. However, for electronics repair, that'll be unlikely.

You will receive it charged but it may take many hours to obtain a full charge. This is a great tool. Be prepared to use a standard screw driver to open a very tight screw, then take over with this device. I love it. Bought one for my younger son's family when I visited their house and saw how many toys take batteries and they used simple hand tools instead of a power tool. Price was good and it shipped quickly. Thank you!

So I saw a precision screwdriver set on sale and it used the exact bits that I have to meticiously screw for my builds that I do and I said, great! Save a few seconds and some energy. What I did NOT read was the fact that it was mostly for glasses and laptop repair. No, thats real. That doesn't mean its small, it means its WEAK. Like, any screw even tighten by an 8 year olds strength, this thing isn't unscrewing. Its mostly for small little things that you really cant afford to constantly bend your wrist and need to be accurate. Again, eyeglasses and laptops and anything small for repair. You'll barely be able to open up kids toys with these. So, 4 stars, does what it says I guess. Just now powerful enough for most uses. Its no drill.

I used to use a flash, the Godox V1S, the hotshoe was so sensitive, so prone to breaking, I used to carry a spare hotshoe and screwdriver with me. I've had to replace it a few times over the years, and when I do, it has to be done as fast as possible. That being said, once you start carrying a small tool kit, you find more and more reasons to carry it. In comes this handy screwdriver, the magnet strength is fantastic, the size is slim and compact. I can't speak to the battery life yet, but I've used it quite a few times and it's still going, so if I had to say, I'd say it's great!

I got these for building my pc and it never got to a point where it was helpfully magnetized the screws. I follows all instructions on re-magnetizing the bit but it couldn’t hold up small pc screws. Also there were many points where I had to switch to the default handheld screwdriver that came with my case since this tool wasn’t very strong to just overcome small resistances that were easily overcome by hand. The variety is great and likely useful for smaller projects and maybe not PCs

The size of the screwdriver is like an artist pen and it fits comfortable in my hands. Battery life is very long and rechargeable, making it perfect for any home or work projects. The case that it comes with is magnetize inside so you won't lose any of the heads. The pen also have a heavy magnet so when your working with it, the heads stay on it. I also love the bonus of the picture in the case that shows you which screw head is for what.

We are a e-bike service center and rarely had to use this tool as it was only needed twice within a year. On the second use the motor was still working but the tool itself would not rotate the bit, I assume the gearing got displaced inside. Reached out to the company directly and sent them information they asked for. They took their time to get back to me to the point it was past their one year warranty. Hoto told me to reach out to Amazon and they said its past their warranty, even though when we contacted them it was before the warranty was up. I was also told since it was purchased for a small business their is no warranty. So now we have a paper weight. Personally as a person who uses tools regularly I would purchase something more robust and avoid this product. I did ask if I could send it in for repair to get fixed and neither Hoto or Amazon had an answer for me for that. Even though Hoto's website says they will repair it, as we don't mind paying for the repair.
