The price for the strength and multivitamin is excellent. The only thing I have a problem with is the size of the pills 💊 . The fact that they are also vegan is a big plus.

Deva is the only brand I purchase my vitamins from. As a vegetarian, they provide a great option for me. Very helpful. Pills are large but they work. Easy on my stomach.

On the recommendation of Dr. Oz (on TV, not personally), I started looking for a calcium/magnesium supplement to help with fat loss. Dr. Oz believes people should take 1200mg of calcium daily (with 600-700 mg of magnesium to prevent constipation from the calcium). One serving of the Deva Cal-Mag Plus provides 1000mg of calcium and 400 mg of magnesium, so while they don't match exactly, I figured two servings would cover it. (Plus, I'm a big guy.) Even though I'm an unrepentant carnivore, I like organic/vegan supplements. I thought I was getting a pretty good deal, even taking two of them a day, but I just realized that one serving is THREE pills. (It's right there on the label, so I take full responsibility for missing it.)These pills are some of the largest I've seen, so I'm not looking forward to choking down four of them a day. (Thanks to another customer, I just realized that I don't have to take two full servings; four pills will give me 1332mg of calcium.) When I run out of pills I will evaluate whether they contributed to my goals, but at this point it seems likely that I will be looking for a more cost-effective (and smaller) solution. And I will read the label more carefully.A bonus star to Deva for putting a picture of the actual label on Amazon, something most other vendors don't do. How can we make informed decisions without all the information? Well done, Deva.

New and ACTUALLY improved formulation (5 stars). Well, based on the comments from DEVA below, I tried again and the latest formulation is great! The tablets hold together and are indeed a little smaller. Perfect. Original review (August 2011):New and NOT improved formulation (2 stars). I've been taking the DEVA Cal-Mag supplement for some time. In the past...no issues. However, my most recent order arrived with most of the tablets crumbling to pieces. I sent them back to Amazon (assuming they were defective). The replacement looked a little better, but now that I'm getting closer to the bottom of the bottle, I'm seeing the same thing. Most of the tablets are chipped and/or crumbling, many are broken in half, and there was a thick layer of Cal-Mag dust in the bottom of the bottle. Apparently, DEVA has reformulated the tablets, but it's definitely not an improvement. I'll be going with a different brand next time around.

I have to take a lot of calcium and I always know if it’s working well if my muscles stop aching and my hair and nails are growing fast. And this stuff does the trick.And it’s a great value for your money.And did. Fail to mention, it’s VEGAN!So no animals had to be harmed so you can live healthy. Love that
