Power Stop K5389 Front & Rear Brake Kit with Drilled/Slotted Brake Rotors and Z23 Evolution Ceramic Brake Pads

I purchased the PowerStop set for my 2006 Honda Element as I tow a trailer frequently, don't like brake dust and also enjoy throwing the ol brick on wheels around occasionally.I followed the break in procedure included with the pads and was initially not very impressed with noise and pedal feel, but after a couple days driving the pads bedded in and now pedal feel is just a bit softer than OEM pads, BUT when making a slightly aggressive stop the brakes really come into their own and stop very strong and predictably.These are not race brakes like the Wildwoods with Gator pads from my SCCA days, but they are very strong brakes and quiet as well.

love powerstop. have put them on all my vehicles. these were put on for helping stop a trailer over the stock brakes. Let me tell you, they certainly do the job!

Very happy with this kits performance thus far, considering its only been a month. I don't tow but from time to time panic stops are required where I drive. Stop and go traffic had glazed the factory pads and rotors on my '08 Honda Element EX so hopefully the drilled and slotted upgrades will help.

My second set - one of the first things I installed after getting my car. First time I used these was for my 2005 Honda Element. I had to change my rotors because they were warped. Then I sold the car for a 2010 Element (hey, I love the Elements!). I needed new brakes and decided to just do the rotors too so I wouldn't have to worry. They last and hold up to heavy braking without warping. My mechanic said they were a breeze to put in -so easy he only charged $30 to do all 4! They even included grease and extra pins.
