It turn white after a hour! Horrible edge control

I will 1st start off by saying I purchased this product with my own money a few days ago. A lot of times when a product has little to no reviews companies will send free products for an "honest review", aka boost starts and make people buy it, but this is not the case for me. I recently watched my favorite natural hair YouTuber Iamtraeh to a review of the edge controls and thought oh well here's another YouTuber trying to get sponsorships and push products out on people. BUT I watched her video and saw that it LAYED AND SLAYED her 4b/4c hair. Since I'm transitioning and have a 4a hair texture I was hopeful this product would work for me. I had been looking for a good edge control for a while now. Every time I would buy and edge control or pomade it would end up being too hard and start flaking or greasy. I was so skeptical about this product that I waited a few days to even ordered it but I jumped in a few days ago and just decided to order it. It arrived within a week. The jar is a decent size and a lot bigger than I expected. Definitely could last a couple months or more with applying as directed. My edges were coily and slightly nappy but as soon as I put the product on my edges went straight and slicked back. I love the consistency. It's like a stiff gel but not sticky like got2bglued. It's very light and refreshing to my edges. It was almost cooling when I put it on. Not to mention the SMELL! THIS IS THE BEST SMELLING HAIR PRODUCT I OWN! It smells exactly like lemon berry! I would eat it if I could jk. Honestly though if you're looking for an edge control that is 100% bomb and smells great get this one!

This would get 5 stars if it didn't create a white residue. The trick is to only use a little at a time...like literally...just a little tiny bit is all you need. It's meant for edges anyway. When you use a little, there is no white residue and it lasts for at least a few days. Oil based edge pomades just gets oily and run down your face, causing your edges to lift...but not with this water based one. I love it...lasts a long time when using just for your edges.

Ladies it goes on like a jam but dries non greasy and has a firm hold. It’s alright but after about a week you notice a mild white build up and then it’s time to wash the hair. I like the product and would buy again.

It came very quickly. Love this edge control you don't even need to apply a large much amount. It smells good, will hold for days. Will give the strongest hold for natural and process hair I highly recommend it.

This is an excellent product! I have natural hair with no relaxer. I have tried many hair care products to smooth down my edges.....all of them flake and the smooth look is gone within a couple of hours. Edge Booster keeps my hair smooth and in place for 3 to 4 days without reapplying. When I use Edge Booster on my hair, the edges of my hair looks as if I have a relaxer on my hair, and there is NO flaking.

My 17 year old daughter has been using the blueberry scent for three years. She absolutely loves it. The key is to wet the hair slightly, put a tiny amount of the product on the hair, style to your perfection and the hold will last all day. She has tried other scents but found the blueberry scent works best for her. Consequently, If you stack it on your hair it may turn white. However, my daughter does not have this problem because a little goes a long way. Warning, do not stack the product on the hair over a previous application from the prior day. Damp the hair with a wet cloth as you wipe away the old application then proceed with a tiny amount of the new application. Lastly, I almost forgot my daughter has extremely sensitive facial skin and this product does not break her out or irritate her skin. I hope this review helps the product really works.

Nice Strong hold for course hair ( I don't know the b's, c's and d's of hair). I try to use the minimum as it will flake and turn white (I just put a little oil sheen where I think it will turn white and its fine). But its not extra greasy like normal edge control products get after an hour. Holds allllllll day. You will have to wash it out when you are through with your style.

So disappointed I received a half empty jar ☹ its a shame as its quite pricey

The best hair product for all hair types, specifically 4c hair. I have very short 4c hair and my hair resists every other edge control product except for the edge booster. Don't mind the size of the product; all you need is a tiny bit to slay those edges that will last throughout the day. This product is the most effective productive I've come across.

I have 4C hair. I’ve not been able to find a product to hold down my curly edges. This is the only thing that works for me, I’m so happy to have found it as I was losing hope. It stays on the whole day and I’ve had it stay on overnight too. No need for hairspray on top.

After reading the reviews I was very much looking forward to using this product but it didn't live up to my expectations. Unfortunately it was very white and messy on my hair when it dried as well as it didn't hold my hair at all.
