Having tried multiple brands from shops that were full of bits of twigs or were really damp, I ordered this stuff. It’s great, really fine, no other matter and presumably because it is stored in a warehouse, it wasn’t super damp. I’ve ordered multiple bags of this and I still been great every time.

This good quality and works. I have used it for fruit seeds with no bad results.

A long established name in horticulture with a reputation to match. My seeds thrive when planted in this compost. It is fine and does have a tendency to dry out if you don't watch it, but it gives seeds the start they need to develope into strong healthy plants. Well worth the investment, I should have bought more.

I purchased this product in April 2023, it contained a nasty piece of rusty metal, although seeds germinated ok, I will not purchase again as quality control not good. Wear gloves and use a scoop as a precaution.

Got seeds and want them to grow? try this. Better germination rates and good growth. It is already nice and fine so no real need to sieve. I have hundreds of seedlings now as I allowed for the usual damping off, germination rates etc but as this soil is nice a free draining I have had no damping off issues at all.

Bought this for my cuttings and they have rooted beautifully
