Review: Received the tent today and on initial set up, it looks great! Seams look well sealed with good stitching. Not the lightest backpacking tent on the market, but definitely not heavy, either. Sets up extremely easily much like a traditional camping tent, 2 cross-poles and 1 pole to add additional room to the main vestibule. Only 7 stakes included so you will need to buy more to use guy lines. Love the colors of the tent, will make it easy to locate at night. The main vestibule is HUGE. 2 pockets on each side and 3 pockets in one corner. Also has a headlamp pocket to diffuse light so you don’t need a lamp. Biggest complaint: did not come with the included footprint, reached out to the manufacturer and will edit this after they reach out. Edit: Marmot was unable to assist but desertcart made sure we got taken care of super quickly! The footprint is durable and lightweight, has grommets and a spot for stakes so you don’t need additional stakes for the footprint, just use the same you have for the tent.

Received the tent today and on initial set up, it looks great! Seams look well sealed with good stitching. Not the lightest backpacking tent on the market, but definitely not heavy, either. Nachdem ich viele frustrierende Erfahrungen mit günstigen Zelten gemacht habe, bin ich nun sehr glücklich mit dem Marmot Catalyst 3P Zelt. Ich habe es bereits mehrfach benutzt und freue mich jedes Mal wieder darüber! Der Aufbau des Zeltes geht sehr schnell von der Hand, selbst alleine ist es gut zu bewältigen. Die 3-Personen-Version bietet für 2 Personen und ihr Gepäck viel Platz und ist ausgesprochen geräumig. Die "Regalfächer" an der Zeltwand haben sich als äußerst praktisch erwiesen. Der "Lampenschirm" ist eine nette Idee, wurde von mir aber noch nie gebraucht. Die mitgelieferte Zelttasche ist von angemessener Größe, sodass das Zelt problemlos wieder ordentlich verstaut werden kann. Ein weiterer positiver Punkt ist, dass das Innenzelt nahezu komplett aus Mesh besteht, was für eine ausgezeichnete Luftzirkulation im Zelt sorgt. An klaren Nächten kann das Überzelt an einer Seite hochgerollt oder sogar komplett entfernt werden, was sich ideal zum Sterne gucken eignet. Auch schlechtem Wetter hat das Zelt bisher gut standgehalten. Der Lieferumfang umfasst alles, was man benötigt, einschließlich einer Bodenplane. Allerdings fand ich die Anzahl der mitgelieferten Heringe viel zu gering. Meiner Erinnerung nach waren es lediglich fünf Stück. Obwohl die Heringe an sich leicht und stabil sind, bringt das wenig, wenn man nicht genug zum Abspannen des Zeltes hat. Ich musste vorübergehend mit Plastik-Heringen improvisieren, die ich noch herumliegen hatte. Dies schmälerte den ansonsten hochwertigen Eindruck des Zeltes etwas. Insgesamt bin ich mit dem Marmot Catalyst 3P Zelt sehr zufrieden und kann es guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Es bietet einen schnellen und einfachen Aufbau, ausreichend Platz, gute Belüftung und hält verschiedenen Witterungsbedingungen stand. Abgesehen von der knappen Anzahl an Heringen erfüllt das Zelt meine Erwartungen und hat mich nicht enttäuscht. Es ist definitiv eine empfehlenswerte Wahl für Camping- und Wander-Abenteuer.
