Not exactly what I wanted but it gets the job done...... sometimes. You'll need to play around with it until it fits at just the right spot. If not, it won't work. Similar to when you're phone charging starts to not charge your phone unless you get it in the right angle.

I've been using it for a week or so and it's been great! It was recommended by my dr that I should try to use a microphone system in my classroom. I bought this little gadget and tried to use it with the speaker system in my classroom. It has a bit of a delay (not the fault of the microphone) so it sounded like an echo. I brought in my Bose stereo and hooked it up to that and it's been great! I'm not exhausted at the end of the day, and I can save my voice for when I really need it. I've even had two other teachers by one for their own classrooms!! :)

I have ordered two of these. The first came brand new all sealed. The second was not. The item appears to be repackaged as the item (inside) was not sealed as previous order before. internal packaging of product, inside manufacture box looks used.

I'm a sixth grade social studies teacher, and I bought this because I was tired of losing my voice talking over students. It was incredibly easy to plug the receiver directly into the speaker system in my classroom. I wore the headband around my neck, almost like wireless headphones. The microphone had no feedback and worked as expected. The best part for me is that even though I share a wall with the teacher next door, she couldn't hear me at all. After 8 periods of working with crazy 11-13 year olds, my voice is still intact. I recommended it to all of my coworkers.

Needs multiple plug-ins to charge both devices. There's no "power on" indicator on the receiver so you can accidentally leave it on and not have a charge after you store it. Overall it works very well.

Not a reliable device, loses connection to the speaker frequently and the microphone seemed to have an issue with the wiring because the sound would cut out. I bought two thinking the second one would be better but it wasn't. Unfortunately I was only able to return one because I delayed!
