Update, 2 years later: Definitely quiet
Update 26/October/2020: I didn't realize I had this mouse for 2 years til I went looking for a second quiet keyboard/mouse combo for my work computer! Thanks to the pandemic, I've been working from home for most of the year, and don't want my typing or clicking to wake up the previously mentioned S.O. The DPI button does make a difference. I'm just saying I notice that it makes a difference. Usually, I accidentally click it, don't notice til I realize my cursor speed is suddently berserk, then click it back to where it was. I haven't found a need to change the cursor speed, but it's there, and noticeable, if you need it. The mouse is still amazingly quiet! I have noticed an issue (not gonna lie, 2 years on a computer where I game a lot, no deduction of stars for a $17 mouse) or two: Wheel scrolling isn't quite as quiet as it used to be (still quieter than normal mice), and sometimes I have to click twice (it'll happen in 3 days of a week, then not again for a month or two) for a click to register (go figure, you mash on a mouse button in first person shooters almost daily and problems happen after 2 years of this abuse). If I don't find an appropriate wireless combo in my new search, I will gladly get this one twice over (once for the work station, and a replacement for the personal station)! Original review follows: I got this mouse because I got tired of being on Skype calls with a nosy significant other: "What are you clicking? What are you clicking? What are you clicking?". This mouse clicks super silently and I'm not asked any more (also, the answer is 'browsing reddit', I just got tired of repeating myself). I haven't noticed a huge difference with the DPI button, but it allows me to play my games just as well as the basic mouse I used to have. Worth the money!

Very close to perfectly silent.
Loves this mouse. It does what it claims. Silent, decent price, functional. After five months of usage, the roller developed some play in it. It was not responding as accurately as it did when new. I was able to take it apart and blow out a minimal amount of dust and a few small hairs. The mouse then functioned like new. Be forewarned, disassembling and reassembling this mouse can be tricky. There's a single Phillips head screw under the inspection sticker which must be removed for disassembly. Blow the roller mechanism with forced air. Reassembling this mouse starts with placing both black side pieces precisely onto the bottom plate before reattaching the top button assembly. After both sides are placed, begin by sliding/placing the upper left corner into the bottom plate. The rest of the upper button assembly will easily lock into place after the left corner is attached. Snap tight and replace the screw. Good as new. Simple.

An actual SILENT mouse!
I want a silent mouse? This is the one and only one I have ever found to be completely silent. The main mouse buttons, side buttons, scroll wheel are all silent. Aside from that, it works just like a regular mouse. Two small downsides: 1. The mouse is quite small itself. I never considered myself to have large hands until I tried using this mouse. You get used to it, but I wish it was larger. 2. The mouse only lasts me for about 1 year of HEAVY use. Thankfully the mouse is relatively cheap so it's not a big deal. I've owned four of these and they consistently stop registering clicks around the 1 year mark.

"Silent" mouse is actually almost silent, great for the price
The packaging for this was nearly all Korean and had some phrases on it that made no sense in english. I questioned the brand name and the possible quality, but this one really lived up to its own claims. The buttons are nearly completely silent, I suspect they put a rubber membrane over the switches and maybe padded the inside of the switches somehow, but whatever they did - it worked. I figured that the focus of this product would be just the noiselessness and the other attributes would be forgotten, but I was wrong. This is a quality mouse all around, it feels surprisingly comfortable and fits my hand well, it's responsive and precise, too. It's good enough I'd say some people could consider it a gaming mouse, but maybe not in the sub-nanosecond-twitch response kinds of games, but I haven't really had an issue with it either. For the price, it's great and I'd say this is the way to go if you find yourself wanting to game in silence.

quiet mouse, lasts about three years
I am a verified customer, and I have bought this mouse multiple times. My last purchase (according to Amazon) was from March 2020, and it is currently October 2023. That tells me that this mouse lasts three (3+) years before the mouse buttons start glitching/bugging-out. My left mouse button was starting to not register on some clicks, so that told me that the mouse was about done with its lifetime or done with its service as a computer mouse. Anyway ... this mouse really is silent in terms of noise, and it is soft in terms of haptic feedback (a term used for keyboards more than used for mice). Thank you for making a great product. If I were to make a suggestion, I would say move the DPI button somewhere else. I keep accidentally hitting it, and my mouse cursor starts flying around the screen. I have to keep setting it to the lowest DPI "light". (I say "light" because the levels are "dim" ... "bright" ... and "brighter" ... then back to "dim".

Extremely quiet, as advertised, but it can crash Windows 8+ computers.
I got my mouse in the mail pretty fast, I must say, and I was extremely excited to get it. Here's my review of the short time I've had with it: Pros: - The left and right clicks are almost silent, and compared to a normal mouse, are practically non-existent - One of the only silent mice with side buttons, and they work out-of-the-box, too! - Middle-clicking is quieter than normal mice, but louder than left/right buttons - Side buttons are even quieter than the left and right buttons somehow. You need to be in almost complete silence listening to hear them - This is lighter than my Evo 4g LTE smartphone. This this is SERIOUSLY lightweight, and moves like it, too. - Very comfortable to hold for hours at a time. I can play Skyrim all night long thanks to this mouse Cons: - Middle wheel scrolling is as loud, or louder than normal mice (depending on the normal mouse you're using. My Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000 scrolls silently), though this isn't as big of an issue, because dragging the mouse across a table is actually louder than the scrolling noise, and it drags a lot quieter than a normal mouse does (just to give you a point of reference) - Crashes my Windows 8.1 laptop (Dell Studio 1749) at least once every few hours. It complains of "kernal_security_check_failure." Almost certainly related to drivers. This is my biggest complaint! To be fair, however, the company claims on its website that it is only compatible with: "Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000, ME, 98, NT and Mac OS 9.0 or above," so I guess I can't complain that much, but... watch out for this if you're on a Windows 8+ machine. - Disconnects itself and then reconnects itself once every few hours. This is what causes the BSOD related to the "kernal_security_check_failure" issue. When the mouse is plugged in with the machine running, it can sometimes work fine, or sometimes crash the computer. The reconnect only takes a matter of about 4 seconds, but it can be killer when gaming. This is probably related to drivers and Windows 8, as well. Overall, this mouse is amazing, and if it had Windows 8+ drivers, and didn't crash my system/disconnect every few hours, I would absolutely love it. Even as it is, it's still probably one of my favorite mice I've ever owned. Just make sure to constantly save your game/work, and you'll be fine. On my computer, the mouse disconnecting causes a blip sound on my computer, so I know that I need to save in the next 4 seconds. Sometimes it reconnects itself, and sometimes it crashes. There really is no way to know which it will do. If you are on a Windows 7 or below computer, there is no reason to not buy this mouse. It's $35, but it's some of the best money you'll ever buy when it comes to gaming. You will LOVE this thing. If you are on Windows 8+, buy another silent mouse, wait for the drivers to be released for this mouse, or buy it and save your stuff frequently (which you should be doing, regardless).

Writing a review after using it for 2 years and 4 months.
Came here to write a review after this this mouse for 2 years and 4 months. Why? Because I don't usually write reviews, and I was searching for a new mouse so I thought I'd search my order history to see how long I've had this mouse for. I was pleasantly surprised. This mouse has served me very well all this time. It is as advertised, makes very little noise. After switching to this mouse, my wife has never complained about the clicking (I use it on my laptop in bed, the clicking noise was always an issue late at night when I was on the computer doing work or playing a game and she trying to sleep). The only reason I'm looking for a new mouse now is because the right click seems to be giving in. Nothing to do with the build material itself, the malfunction seems to have been caused by me. My work requires me to travel a lot, and I just throw this mouse in with my laptop charger in a bag, and my last trip seems to have had the right button depressed for a long time. It's not it's not working anymore, I just have to use a little more force than before for it to register. Again, not the manufacturers fault, that's why it still get's the full 5 stars. In fact, I might just order the same one again and try running it for another 2+ years (I know it'll easily outlast that). I have done everything on this mouse from web surfing to document editing to light drawing to playing games (Call of Duty: War Zone, Age of Empires, Cities: Skylines, Caesar 3, Grand Theft Auto 5, etc) and I have had absolutely no issues at all with maneuverability. An absolute recommend.

good mouse, terrible quality
I first bought this mouse in 2021 and loved it, until the left mouse button stopped working correctly. The button still clicked, but needed a lot more pressure and was very inconsistent even then. I contacted the seller and was eventually sent a replacement in early 2023. I haven't used it very much since then, until today... the left button once again stopped working in exactly the same way. I like the shape and simple functionality of this mouse, and really want to keep using it, but I'm over it at this point. Do your future self a favor and buy a different product than this one, unless you want to be right back at square one looking for a replacement in less than a year.
