My son who is now in his mid fifties, was a late teenager when I bought a carved wooden figure of a young boy kneeling, looking downward as though thoroughly fascinated by something on the ground. Serendipitously shortly thereafter I saw and bought a small carved wooden figure of a turtle looking upward. Perfect .. same wood, same scale! The turtle sat for a few decades looking up at the boy on a table in my foyer…to me they were my son in his youth and a love filled reminder of my son. Unfortunately a small two year old boy saw it and took the little turtle…broke my heart. So I went looking to find a replacement, not expecting to succeed, but YAY…here was a perfect little replacement! Now my boy has his turtle back to inspect and wonder about a little piece of nature! Wonderful?

I bought these little turtles to hide in the sandbox along with some broken ping pong balls. The grandkids were thrilled when the found the “newly hatched” baby turtles.

I am using them in my water feature.

The turtles are very cute; however, two of the four turtles arrived broken.

My grandson started collecting turtles soI purchased these for him. He was surprised and added them to his collection. They are very cute.

Had so much fun using as a decoration on a petrified log and added some moss!

Cute little things, intended for placement in my garden. Two of the four, in spite of being packed in protective plastic, arrived with a foot broken off, not worth returning, but annoying. A drop of superglue should do the trick.
