Worth every penny spent Review: Sharp and convenient - I paired this with the 4-piece pole set by the same manufacturer and am quite happy. I can manage that setup; more pole sections would likely be too much for me. The hook on the back of the saw is useful for pushing and pulling stuck, disconnected branches. It also allows you to just hook the pole saw on the branch while you rest a bit, if you choose to use it to cut thick branches as I do. The blade is flexible, which prevents it from staying bent when it gets flexed, which it will. I've abused it pretty solidly and found it pops right back into shape. I am going to add a thin lock washer under the wing-nut as that tends to get loosened by my uncoordinated thrusting and bashing of the saw up in the branches. quite satisfied with this purchase. I don't have any business operating a chainsaw on a pole, and have always thought those saws were tempting fate a bit too much. This thing is effective and satisfying to use. ## Features - Universal Compatibility – Easily converts any compatible extension or base pole into a high-quality pole saw, making it perfect for professional or DIY tree trimming and pruning. - 13-Inch Barracuda Tri-Cut Blade – Features a sharp, durable, 13-inch Barracuda Tri-Cut saw blade designed to deliver smooth, clean cuts through branches, reducing trimming time. - Lightweight, Low-Profile Saw Head – Crafted with a low-profile, corrosion-resistant aluminum saw head that easily maneuvers through dense foliage, offering optimal control and precision. - Integrated Hook for Branch Removal – Includes a sturdy hook on the saw head to assist with pulling down loose limbs or branches, making yard work faster and more efficient. - Built for High Performance and Durability – Engineered for tough jobs with a corrosion-resistant saw head and high-speed steel blade, ensuring long-lasting, reliable performance in all weather conditions. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B009R4JI9Y | | Best Sellers Rank | #41,817 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #25 in Manual Pole Saws | | Blade Length | 13 inches | | Blade Material | High Speed Steel | | Blade Shape | Serrated | | Brand | Jameson | | Brand Name | Jameson | | Color | Silver | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 458 Reviews | | Handle Material | Plastic or Rubber | | Included Components | Pole Saw Head, Tri-Cut Saw Blade | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 7"L x 28"W x 4"H | | Item Type Name | Jameson PS-3FPS1 Pole Saw Kit | | Item Weight | 16 ounces | | Manufacturer | Jameson | | Manufacturer Part Number | PS-3FPS1 | | Model Number | PS-3FPS1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Teeth | 13 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Rust-resistant and lightweight design, extra-strong blade, pole adapter compatibility | | Power Source | manual | | Special Feature | Rust-resistant and lightweight design, extra-strong blade, pole adapter compatibility | | Surface Recommendation | Wood | | UPC | 892661000129 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Type | Standard Saw Warranty | ## Product Details - **Blade Material:** High Speed Steel - **Brand:** Jameson - **Color:** Silver - **Power Source:** manual - **Surface Recommendation:** Wood ## Images ![Jameson PS-3FPS1 Tri-Cut Pole Saw Head Kit, 13-Inch Barracuda Blade, Converts Extension Poles for Precise Tree Trimming and Pruning - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Z+103E2KL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Will this fit on the Notch big shot pole?** A: Will this fit a bon 1-3/4” pole set **Q: will this fit with extendable pool brush poles?** A: Probably not with out some modifications to either the pool brush pole or the pole saw. Note: Just saying from my experience's better to stick with the approved tool handles that are non metallic (and non electrical conductive) for safety reasons. Be Safe SGT.R **Q: Will some other brand of replacement blades fit the saw head, or only Jameson blades?** A: Hello, Thank you for your excellent question. Jameson saw blades are designed to fit with Jameson saw heads and hand saws. Although, Jameson blades may fit other manufacturers tools, we cannot confirm this. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. We will be happy to assist. Thank you, Jameson, LLC **Q: Item says battery powered. I am curious as to what type battery would power this.** A: I think you need to double check about battery. It does NOT have any type power for this saw except your arms. It is a very good SHARP blade. I use it often and would, if needed, buy another. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best saw bought *by C***. on May 18, 2026* Quality saw for ease of cutting limbs.
