Grotto Black Dial Men's Watch LP-15024-01

This watch looks nice in pics and in real life. It feels good, too. Problem is that the movement must be beyond cheap - and it gets stuck consistently, thus removing the one thing a quartz does better than automatics - being accurate. A quartz watch that doesn't tell time is pointless. And at this price point, just not worth repairing.Physically, It's also a big watch. That said, the crown isn't centered on the edge so it hits your wrist. I've noticed that when putting my hands in and out of pants pockets, the crown tends to get gets caught on clothes. strange but true.Overall, spend a couple bucks more and get something better. I was hoping to use this as a beater watch - but if it can't tell accurate time, if it gets stuck on everything - well... not much point. sad face.

The Lucien Piccard LP-15024-01 Grotto Analog watch is about 1 3/4" in diameter, which is a bigger watch than I usually wear. It seems that the trend right now is for very large watch faces. I like the leather strap, no weird hard to use combination leather and clasping metal gadgets. It is easy to put on and it stays put on my wrist. The watch is black and silver which makes it very easy to read for my old eyes. The contrast between the hands and the background is great. Actually the large size helps also. There is a red arrow for seconds, which I will likely ignore, but if you have a use for this feature, it is easy to see. Changing the time setting is a simple pull out and turn button.This watch is simple, looks good and is comfortable. There are no distracting functions or features which I am very happy about. Though....I wish that it had a way to illuminate the dial. I find this feature nice in a low light environment. Overall it's a very nice looking simple function watch.

This is an atttractive watch. When ones shops for something like this online, one often wonders if it'll look as good in person. Yes, it does. Excellent craftsmanship in an elegant gift box. Would make a good gift. But, like another reviewer, I'm not sure who would want this. It's minimal in terms of what it's for - it tells time and has a nice second hand that appears to be very precise, but it's not totally minimal in terms of style. It's modern, but not sleek enough to really be a fashion watch. Still, I like it and my husband does, too.However, if you're not a big man this watch may be totally unsuitable for you. My husband says it is too big for him. I like big watches and thought it looked fine, but the watch piece itself is as wide as his wrist (same as it is on mine). He's trim and 5'9". The watch is thick and weighs 3.2 ounces.My brother-in-law, a carpenter, felt the watch was too bulky for everyday wear.So, there you have it. I'll probably wear it as a loose bracelet-style watch on occasion. I'd say that unless you're quite a brawny fellow, this may not be the right watch for you. I give it four stars, however, for quality.

Lucien Piccard Men's LP-15024-01 Grotto Analog Display Quartz Black Watch.This is a sizeable watch with a classic look to it.It is not one that has many features or extras to it. Just a basic watch for doing what it should which is telling time.One thing we have noticed though after nearly a month is that the time is a little bit off on this watch.It does look nice when it is worn. The band is more flexible than another watch we have tried and over time it really fits him well.This one is so easy to see the numbers on it. Nice clean look to it. Is a bit on the heavier side so he does not wear it all day long.Overall the men in this house prefer this watch over the others they have tried.

I really love this watch! It has a very simple, sleek style. I love how basic and classic-looking it is. The strap is really nice, and my man says it fits well and is comfortable. I think the face is really nice, the simple elegance of it is quite nice.It comes in a REALLY nice box too, which I think is great. It was easy to set, which I liked. I love things that are easy to use. It seems like a great watch that will hold up for quite a long time.I'd highly recommend this watch, there's nothing I don't like about it if you're looking for a very nice, basic watch.

This men's watch arrived courtesy of the Amazon Vine program. It is a simple, no nonsense every day watch with a clean face, red second hand and appealing black leather wrist band. It is on the bulky side if you have a slim or small wrist so it's better worn by big men. Gift box is beautiful. Will need special jeweler's tool when it's time to change the battery.Update 2 weeks later: Time is constantly off, we need to adjust it at least twice a week.

Beautiful watch, however they distributor sent it with a dead battery. My choice was to replace the battery or send it back.

I love this watch. Sleek and minimalist. No calendar, no buzzers, just hands and a nice leather strap. It looks great.

It's even more beautiful in life and fits perfectly. Great design and quality.

Deberías haber mayor control de la calidad que se envían los productos. En el caso de los relojes darles una revisada antes de enviarlos, toda ves que es molesto y lamentable para en cliente y más tratándose de un regalo. El reloj está muy bonito pero no funciona correctamente, muy lamentable.
