Probably Wouldn't Buy it Again
Like many, I bought this for times when the power was out, but we needed to keep informed about storms, etc. This means that this TV's ability to play AM/FM, Mp3s, and photos from a flash drive . . . they're just features I didn't need and probably won't use. I just need a TV! We've had it for a year, but so far, every time we've needed it, it fails! Something doesn't work. Although it's not the TV's fault, it seems here that whenever the power is out . . . the cable TV line is also down! (Anyone else have Suddenlink?!?!!?) Even though it came with a couple of antennas, but they're both only rated for about 15 miles. For our setting, this means we get one or two channels, but they're pixel-ated and come-and-go so that it's difficult to keep up with the show. And (again, not the TV's fault) here, what we get are both educational channels that do not broadcast emergency information. So if you can't see the lights on the broadcast tower, plan on having a better antenna. Of course, this means you'll have to have a wire connected from the wall/outside antenna to the unit just to watch TV which makes it less than portable. In many ways, this is like a tablet -- you'll need it pretty much in your lap if you're going to watch it . . . but you'll also need the antenna wire for a decent reception. The remote is a jumble of cryptic punch bubbles -- not intuitive at all. It simply provides a remote way to activate the buttons on the left and right of the screen. Sometimes "Yes" is the "ok" button -- sometimes its the right arrow button. Again, many of the buttons apply to features I just don't need during an emergency. And, the battery life is extremely short -- 2 hours tops. If your power is out, you can take it out to your car/truck to charge it with the included 12V charger. But then you'll be without the unit for a couple of hours, cause you can't watch it while its charging. The picture isn't that clear either -- especially compared to screens we're use to in this day. And for some reason, my stand always holds the TV slightly crooked, but it's locked down and can't be adjusted. The instructions aren't much better: you're suppose to point the antenna toward the station is increase the likelihood of reception. Not sure if pointing an antenna will help . . . unless you're 12 years old and having a sword fight. So, think carefully about what you want the TV to do before you just purchase a portable TV . . . wish I had.

A very Happy Surprise still going great
I ordered the little 10" TV so I could pick up local stations not available on my steaming TV service. I didnt expect much and was I in for a shock. It's simple to set up the channels in your area and there are a lot. I thought I would have to spring for a special antanna, no the two that come in the box are excellent. I'm using the one that is on a cord you can move around the room and it pulled in all the local stations. The picture is brilliant, clear needing no adjusting. Soudwise it has plenty of volume and if I needed better sound I can just patch it in to an amp. I'm happy I can't think of an accessory I need so much is included. I got more than I imagined, I'm very pleased.Update- I've had the TV for a month now and it's working very well. I don't think it keeps a charge for very long but the lighter plug-in combined with the car adapter should work well while driving for my passengers. To those who cannot get stations: Use the antenna on the long cord, extend it all the way and sat the top of the antenna close to a window. I live east of Phoenix. In the past pocket size and even 36" flat screens could not get stations very well. This Tyler 10" shocked me because I literally pulled in both standard and HD signals for the 4 network and 1 independant stations perfectly Another dozen station I had never heard of, came in very well. I'll add some pictures when I have more time. I wanted this TV for the times I want to pick up CBS, ABC, NBC, and FOX stations I cannot get by streaming, for their college and pro football broadcasts. If you do all this and still have poor reception speak with someone in an electronic store about other antennas. The TV works perfectly in my home.

SO FAR SO GOOD!!!
I have read the comments and reviews. 1st of all I believe mine is updated so the stand was easier to figure out, NO thanks to the instructions but I am 73 yo woman and figured it out so you can figure it out. NO screw driver needed, just unscrew what looks like something you should not unscrew but not totally or totally but be careful. THEN the tv will fit on the stand by sliding it up the back of the stand. The remote is small and has LOTS of buttons but there is a good explanation of each in instructions. The picture is good, the scan worked well and brought in lots of digital channels with the stick antenna attached to back of the TV directly. I READ the battery does not last long which is not good but have not tried it yet on battery alone. Will update if it is better or worse than what has been reported. WE bought it to use in RV when we are boondocking and not wanting to put the generator on or use it when visiting friends and there is no TV in bedroom which I seem to need to wind down from the day at the end of the day when going to bed. HOPE it lasts at least a couple of hours!!!

An Excellent Digital TV
Wanted a small TV capable of pulling in a couple of local stations to see the news and weather while prepping supper in the kitchen and in case of severe weather when satellite TV goes down due to heavy clouds. You know what I mean Dish & Directv owners.I've been looking at products on Amazon and locally for over a year. Recently I saw this TV and purchased it. Well, it didn't disappoint. You get a different combination of antennae options. I installed the telescoping one. I placed the TV in a corner of our kitchen countertop about two feet from a window. It didn't disappoint!I expected to have to drill a hole through the window wooden frame to run one of the other included alternate antenaes outside. Nope.Getting picture perfect reception from this little TV stuck in the corner. 15 local digital stations from the NE AND West directions with a couple over 70 miles away. Look maybe it's a fluke but that's what this mini TV is doing for me.I don't post many reviews here unless a product is really good or bad. This TV is really GOOD. An amazing product for the price. 100% satisfied!
