My husband loves this little thing. It is super easy to clean and heats up his food pefectly inbetween job sites. However...caution. If there were directions anywhere about not putting tinfoil over the top of the food tray to store in the fridge without the electric base, I missed it. Don't do this. Oopsies. Science people. Tinfoil + stainless steel + acidic food = Battery. Tinfoil will actually end up full of burn holes and your delicious lunch will be ruined. As was our issue when I added a blackberry cobbler to my husbands lunch. The next day he went to pull it out of the fridge and the tinfoil was full of little burnholes. It was not plugged in. It was not in it's base. It was simply the two mixed metals and an acid. Not the manufacturers issue. I was one berry away from turning his lunch into the Arc of the Covenant! Anyway, other than that teensy little sidenote, this gadget is super handy and my husband can eat hot food for lunch instead of the usual squished sandwhiches. 5/5 stars.

This thing is a life saver for those who drive as a profession. It does warm mildly slowly, and it seems limited to about 30-45 minutes, but just check the little light around then and if it's off, just unplug and plug back in, and your food will be warm in about 5 minutes from then. Sooooo nice to have warm soup on road on a cold day, and the savings on fast food is amazing as well! Just wish the top lid was a bit better formed,or lined with something removable or just smother, as it's cleaning is the worst part.

My husband loves this it really heats up your food. He put a medium rare steak in it at 8 by 12 it was well done. Him and his buddy’s was testing it out lol

If you put anything in this like soup it will not hold it. I know this sounds dumb to say but when we got it one of the things it was saying was spill proof. Not the case. Though you can put soup etc in this and it will heat it up to a good temperature in about two hours. If you want to throw chicken in it you will need to wait a while or you can leave it plugged up to remain hot. This is a good thing though if you do this you will need to do things to prevent it from sticking and burning so oil or just keep flipping the chicken etc so it does not burn. There is no temperature control on this so its just full heat at all times when plugged in. I do highly recommend it, at the job site when others were eating cold food we were eating nice hot food with no microwave etc around. Very nice.

I love this little compact heater. My food is heated in 30 minutes and I no longer have to battle my coworkers for the microwave. I put everything in there to warm, up and it’s ready right on time for lunch. It’s easy to use and clean. I just take the tray on with the food and pop it in, plug it up, and by lunch, I’m ready to eat and relax.
