For the winter I tend to wear a Neoprene Textile jacket which is great for the cold wet days but is not going to win any style points. So with a 'certain' birthday upon me I decided to go retro and get a leather this time in Brown.This jacket looks absolutely fantastic, the subtle distressed fading immediately gives it a slightly worn in look.With the stitched padding along the shoulders and elbows it already offers a degree of protection but with the supplied armoured pads for the joints this really will keep you as safe as it is possible to.The large spinal board is similarly going to be there for the hopefully never occur eventuality, but the edging feels more subtly contoured than on my previous leather.The leather itself feels a good thickness so should be again as protective as one would hope for.The fit is generous, especially if you don't need the removable lining in the warmer months, so do look at the sizing chart on the listing.The collar is a little stiff and with the zip coming right up to the top it can catch the skin when doing shoulder checks but with a scarf to seal off the air flow this won't be an issue.I wanted a retro look and this really does give it. A great jacket I can thoroughly recommend.

To say I'm happy is an understatement. To find out how happy I am, buy one yourself. Sizing is bang on , quality is fantastic and design is very fit for purpose. Delivery via Amazon prime and price is great . I was concerned I might have to return (cause of neck size) so brought via Amazon for thier returns policy. This wasn't required (hint hint) .

This is actually a review of two Texpeed Leather Jackets.Firstly, I bought another Texpeed jacket (with the "Quilted Diamond Stitched Design" direct) from Bike Wear Direct because it was about £10 cheaper than through Amazon for the same jacket and from the same supplier, just not using Amazon as a middle-man. I'm going to return that jacket as it's poorly designed with the wrist zips on the back of the sleeve, going up to the elbow, which means the elbow protection sits too high up the arm and offers zero elbow protection. The wrist stud buttons are also very fiddly to do up on the tighter setting. I'm just about 6ft and normally a 42" chest. The L size jacket fit a little too snugly and was too short on the arms.So I then bought this jacket in an XL. In some ways, this jacket seems better quality. It's heavier with more leather. The wrist buttons are easy to connect and the zips are on the inside of the arm so the elbow pads sit in the correct place. The arm length is good, although the jacket is a little baggy on me overall, but acceptable for wearing over additional clothes in the winter.However, there are a couple of features on the other jacket I prefer. The cut of the neck on this jacket is a little wider and lower, offering little-to-no protection around the neck, so if I was to wear a shirt underneath I'd expect the collar to pick up a load of spray and dirt in the wet, yet it still manages to feel like its choking me at the front of the neck. The other jacket had a slightly tighter and higher cut to give better protection, and also had neoprene around the neck area for comfort which I would have liked on this jacket, and I didn't feel choked at all.The waist tightener straps and buttons do practically nothing as the positioning of the buttons are in the wrong place, so the sides can't really be tightened. The main front zip, has no waterproof fabric behind it, unlike the first jacket, despite the zips seeming the same, so I expect that means water would likely leak in through the zip in this jacket. The zips on the other jacket also had leather folder over the top of the zip to give better water protection. The inner lining is also extremely thin so I doubt it adds any value.Both jackets seem good value for money, but sadly neither hit the mark for me so I'm going to return both. There's another one with white stripes on the sleeves I might try...

I wanted a summer / good looking fashion riding jacket. This covers those bases at a great price. The quality is very good, a bit too good as it is a bit heavy for a fashion item. However you can remove the armour quickly so it's not to bad. Overall a great product, good looking, good value on the price point. All zips etc are of good heavy duty quality. What's not to like?

Its very nice thick leather for great protection. Could easily mistake for a £300+ leather jacket. In fact it’s very similar to my Harley jacket! Going to return for another size though. I forgot to measure my gut so pay attention to the size chart folks.

Got my texspeed jacket last week and I wore it for the first time today. WOW what a comfortable jacket, I would recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a leather motorcycle jacket. The price was also very reasonable. 10/10. 🇮🇪

I had to remove the armour as I’m not able to currently ride a motorcycle, but once I put it on after that, WOW!!! A great fit and feel.I love it.

La chaqueta es una auténtica maravilla, la he reemplazado por una Alpinestar de gama alta que me quedaba muy grande y la verdad es que a priori no tiene nada que envidiarle, buen material, costuras de calidad, protecciones de calidad, cremalleras de calidad y muy bonita. A ver como envejece, pero muy contento

Avevo ordinato inizialmente una taglia XXXL che si era rivelata larga e poi dopo aver effettuato il reso in maniera celere e senza alcun problema ho ordinato una taglia XXL che meglio si adatta alla mia corporatura.La pelle è compatta e liscia al tatto, con il tipico odore di pelle e non di colorante.Le rifiniture sono di ottimo livello considerando anche il prezzo veramente conveniente per questo tipo di articolo.Le imbottiture su gomiti, spalle e schiena rendono questa giacca piacevole all'utilizzo in moto con un minimo di sicurezza in più addosso.La pelle è inizialmente rigida ma sicuramente andrà ad ammorbidirsi con l'uso.L'imbottitura interna, facile da rimuovere, rende questa giacca utilizzabile anche in autunno, ovviamente non è consigliabile usarla in pieno inverno in quanto non offre un adeguato riparo alle basse temperature.In sostanza un ottimo capo di abbigliamento da indossare per un uso cittadino e di breve escursione utilizzando la propria moto ma anche per un uso quotidiano dato il design molto bello da utilizzare in ogni occasione.
