Apple MacBook Pro 2021 with Apple M1 Pro chip (14-inch, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD) - Space Gray (Renewed)

I was in a bind when my 12 year old Mac finally decided to fail on me in the middle of work. Not crazy about spending the amounts these things call for new so I explored good preowned options. This Mac had much more than I ever needed at a very good price. The Mac showed up in excellent condition and works amazingly well. My old Mac served me well and I never felt it underperforming. But this thing really shows me what I've been missing!

I had only one Windows PC before and really liked the Windows OS, but I been thinking about trying MacOS for a long time. So I make it with this MacBook Pro 14'' with the M1 Pro chip (Renewed Excellent Condition). Even with my Lenovo Ideapad with a good aluminum material and great specs. This device feels so much higher quality than any Windows OS I had tried before. I'm not really familiar with MacOS but I just like this device in every aspect, Is too fast even knowing is been 5 years since this was released in 2021...For this price I will never find something better. Thanks to the seller for this deal, and for the care of the packaging and the device too. The only bad experience with this was the generic charger which feel good quality but is malfunctioning. so I have a USB C to C device that tells me the power but with this charger it doesn't simply work, just charge and stop charging just like when you take the charger out of the outlet, I even tried with a different cable and with my iPhone and Tablet but it was the same thing. I didn't feel comfortable with this so I had to buy a new Anker 100W charger which cost me around $35 more. Other than this I really recommend this device.

It came in pretty good condition with 94% battery health which isn't bad for how low the price is. It immediately replaced all of my previous daily drivers and runs exceptionally fast for medium power users. Im usually using this for work and uni, and my own personal projects. VMS and 3D software like Blender run very well. I was able to run 2 linux vms pretty well. OBS has never been smoother, I'm able to have multiple sources running and still have a bunch of browser tabs open. This laptop is amazing for anyone who needs a small used laptop that still packs a crazy punch. Apps that work well: -Garageband (Everything opens instantly and even big projects have no lag) -Capcut and DaVinci Resolve (No stuttering while scrubbing 1080p and 1440p content, and export speeds are well) -Blender (Rendering is great!!) -OBS (Works amazingly, almost fades into the background, even while streaming) -VS Code (Fast, and keys feel very nice when typing) Also works really well when docked to a monitor. (Make sure its 1440p for high density scaling)

one star because the seller is just a random Amazon seller not a qualified tech company The two biggest issues have nothing to do with the computer itself, rather the accessories that come with it, the charger and cable, which are both cheap knock offs, and the sellers overall handling of that Number one the charger is a cheap knock off no branding. I’ve seen tons of them on Amazon ranging anywhere from $10-$20. The reason this is an issue is its a “smart charger“ and will send more power to the computer than the computers battery can handle For people who understand computers, skip this specific part obviously but for people that don’t it is necessary that the charger is from a reputable brand because the way that a computer receives power from a charger is through what’s called a handshake put simply the charger and computer need to communicate to each other how much power needs to be received/sent to not damage the computer the charger that’s included with the computer does not do that The overall battery health of the computer I bought was at 91% when I started to use the charger that was included the battery health we t down to 88% within two weeks It frustrates me that a product of this price range can include such a terribly cheap accessory that will destroy the battery and that is unacceptable i now use a apple charger and cable and the battery health since then it has stayed the same When you’re spending $1700 you should get a good charger. Number two experience with the seller I messaged the seller on October 18th and didn’t receive anything until October 28 and I believe the only reason they responded is because I texted them that day, reminding them about my concerns with the computers included charger To make it as short as possible, since this is a long review, the only thing that they will do is do an exchange they will not even acknowledge the fact that the charger will damage the computer the only thing they mentioned is that they do not include original accessories Even after I explained how frustrated I was, I could tell that all they’re doing is just copying and pasting messages based on my response so I know that there’s no way of actually resolving this issue So far I have no real issues with the computer itself I just cannot believe how the company can include such a bad charger

I was originally looking at the MacBook Neo, but once I saw that a used 14-inch MacBook Pro M1 Pro was selling for basically the same price and was better performance all around, I went with the M1 Pro instead. That was the right call. The laptop still feels fast, smooth, and strong enough for both everyday use and heavier creative work. The display, speakers, ports, active cooling, and sustained performance all make it the smarter buy. The issue is Amazon Renewed consistency. I ended up ordering two units back to back: a 512GB model, then a 1TB version when the price dropped and was only about $60 more. I am glad I did, because the difference between them was huge even though both were rated “Excellent.” The 1TB unit was in rough shape. It had a big ding on one corner, clearly had been dropped, arrived very dirty, and the keyboard was oily and gross out of the box. The 512GB one, on the other hand, looked almost brand new. It had one small dent on the top lid (I think that may have happened during shipping), but it was minor enough that I kept it and have been very happy with it. The 512GB machine came from a store whose name rhymes with "Rome Source", and that one was a great experience! It even included what looked like a brand new third-party charger and magsafe-like cable. The 1TB unit came from a seller with "Prime" and "Renewed" in the name, and that one was NOWHERE near “Excellent.” I would have called it “Acceptable” at best. It also came with the most basic phone charging brick and USB cable. See photos. So the MacBook Pro M1 Pro itself is still a great buy. You simply need to know that the Renewed condition grade seems to depend a lot on the seller. If you get a good one, it is absolutely worth it. If not, be ready to return it.

Bought this device in Good condition which had me worried at first - but lemme, say this was the best choice I made! Excellent Value for the price, with just a few minor scratches, flawless display and track pad. There’s no going around the slight gloss on the keyboards that comes with these used devices but I’m so satisfied. I was lucky enough to get a device with 90% battery health woohoo!

Macbook Pro looks brand new, no signs of previous use. Was easy to transfer all files from my old Macbook to this laptop. Did buy a wireless mouse as I have arthritis in my hands and this makes it easier for me. These Macbook Pro laptops are real work horses and the editing tools in the Photo app are very easy to use and I like the way they make photos look very professional. Am very happy with my purchase, and the shipping was fast, laptop was in a box, lots of padding used, and I would buy from this seller again. Was quite impressed it had latest version of OS, tasks are completed quickly. Thank you!

This laptop was awesome. It feels like a new laptop, I'm a photographer and I use it to edit photos (Lightroom and photoshoot) and videos (davinci resolve studio) and it does the job. Everything else, normal computing is great. Came in great shape, no scratches, battery was at about 87% the charger that came with it wasn't an apple charger and wasn't even a charger with the power needed to charge while using. It will charge the laptop when not in use but if you think you'll plug it in while using it, your battery will still die. I bought a standard apple charger that has the output. Great buy tho

It was a bargain. My only concern is battery life. It was renewed I am aware of during the renewal process , battery life was effected I am not happy about that. Time will tell

Muy buena compra. La verdad tenia un poco de desconfianza sobre los productos reacondicionados, pero vi que este vendedor tenia muy buenas opiniones. El equipo llego en buenas condiciones, muy limpio y bien empacado en una caja generica, venia con su cargador generico y un cable magsafe que me parece de muy buena calidad. No tiene golpes, rayones ni nada, solo un poco de desgaste en el teclado de que fue usado, pero todo funcionando bien desde el minuto uno, tenia 94% de capacidad maxima de bateria (191 ciclos) lo cual me parece adecuando para un equipo que ya tiene sus años, pero honestamente en mi dia a dia parece como nueva, la bateria dura bastante con tareas exigentes y cosas de trabajo, solo la cargo una vez al dia para toda mi jornada. Lo unico que recomiendo es comprar el caragdor original o alguno mas fiable que el que generico que ya trae, pero de ahi en fuera no tengo quejas.

Un investimento che ho fatto per motivi di lavoro riguardo produzione artistica (composizione musicale, video editing, disegnare e poi modellare le immagini con vari software), ho già avuto a che fare con prodotti Apple (come l'iPhone), e ovviamente essendo il mio primo MacBook Pro, non delude sull'aspetto della comodità, potenza, e look, tutto flessibile e per lavorare è un ottimo pezzo di tecnologia che permette un workflow decente e portatile ovunque vai, compatibile con molti software e prodotti analogici come schede audio esterne, tastiere midi, tavolette grafiche, e così via. Naturalmente consiglio vivamente di spenderli bene i soldi, se spesi su una macchina del genere, scelte tipo 1/2 TB di memoria, i 32 GB di RAM, e più potenza e versatilità che puoi accumulare, così che non hai problemi con la macchina, e avrai sempre la potenza e sicurezza che ti duri tanto, sempre sia tu a trattarla bene, a farne buona manutenzione, e curarla al suo interno (pulizia dei file, no roba sospetta [virus], e niente file ingombranti inutili [quindi compratevi una HD o SSD esterna su cui poter archiviare i vostri progetti, foto e file cosi da non ingombrare la memoria del Mac]).
