This is the fifth SafeRack system I've installed in my garage. They are easy to install, and I have used them for over ten years. Each rack holds 18 Conco crates and have provided a great way to store away things I don't use everyday. It is important to follow the installation dimensions, make sure it is level, and anchored to the ceiling studs.

We have another similar item that was easier to install but this product is much more durable and visually looks better. Just what we needed and love the free space

I installed by myself (1 person). Would've been easier with 2 people but you do with what you have.Was purchased with the express purpose of storing our had to get homedepot 12' 98lbs Inferno Skelton and it does that perfectly.My only regret is I didn't get these racks / shelves for all the other stuff I store in the garage.Some reviews talk of the rack being weak and unstable, to that I can only say you must not have tightened everything down. I purposely left my supports lose until everything was hung then tightened.The Skelton I'm storing is 98lbs and my tiny wife supported it while I slid it up a board from folding table onto rack. I mention this because if rack was swinging / moving like some reviews said we would've never got it onto rack but as photos show that wasn't the case.

This 4x4 is different than 4x8 rack.It uses clips to hold down rack floor.Those clips scratch & damage anything you slide in rack.
