How spoiled are we?
Ok, so no one should ever need this for a propane tank on your grill or generator. You use it, it runs out, you replace. Skip that thought for a moment. It’s super nice knowing exactly how much propane is left on a tank, and being able to plan ahead. The Bluetooth connection is solid, the readings are consistent, and there were no “gotchas”. I’m glad I got it, and I think it’s a great device. Do I absolutely need it? YES! 🤣

Pro Check: Received one with dead battery, otherwise a great sensor!
I ordered two Pro Check sensors plus LED monitor as a set for my RV tanks. During setup one did not sync. Did a return thru Amazon for that one. New sensor received quickly, but it also would not sync. I saw on another customer's review, with the same issue, that they found the battery to be dead. I decided instead of returning again, I would just get some fresh batteries (not expensive) first. Replaced the battery and it sync'd fine (both sensors). I suspect that the batteries drained during long storage, at Mopeka or Amazon?Other then finding the batteries dead, I love this sensor. I initially ordered to have a better monitor for my RV. We found it difficult to determine when we might need to refill a tank based on inline gauges. During the cold nights, we burn thru more propane and had a morning where we woke to a cold RV (my wife called it freezing). The sensors sync fine, set up easily, and the app has versatility that allows me to adapt them for my uses. Accuracy is wonderful in the app, (LED Monitor is not as pinpoint, but works fine) showing initially a full tank on one I knew to be full. During a trip in the RV, I was able to see exactly how much we used and my wife and I now have peace of mind. I think I will keep the third one that I haven't returned yet for my BBQ tank.

Instructions could be better but the product is EXCELLENT!
It was a pain to figure out how to set this up and I haven't added the sensor level indicator due to this. First- the instructions were unclear. I ended up finding better ones not on the Mopeka site but on the Amazon sales page! But I'd already installed the monitors on both tanks and fitted my tight tank cover back in place before learning that I needed to push a button to sync the monitors to the indicator. So it isn't done. However- the phone app works great, and I love being able to just check the level. Sitting here in my living room, storm raging outside, I just checked the app (see posted photo.) I love this so much that I ordered the residential monitor for my generator's propane tank. Also- despite the poor instructions, Mopeka customer service was responsive. And installation is easy if you follow the instructions on this page.

This should have been easier, read for my tips. These work well.
These work great. However getting these set up seemed much more difficult that it should have been.First, the sync buttons on the sensors are "mushy" and you have to push hard on them to activate the switch. Not wanting to damage the switches, or circuit boards inside, I couldn't get them to sync. Assuming the batteries may be the issue, it took them apart and discovered your really need to press hard on the sync button. Push hard enough and you will feel the switch "click". They then paired immediately. The app has issues for me as well. Going to the "help" page leads you to the 404 no page to be found. Really?Thinking setting up an account and registering might make thing easier and function as expected, led me to wait 15 minutes for the email needed to verify my account.Next, I ordered the halos for the tank bottoms but found they increased the outside diameter just enough my tanks would not fit into my trays. No worries, the sensors came with 3 little aluminum clips for the bottom rim to raise the tanks enough to allow clearance for the sensors. However, when I tried to tap them on the rim with a hammer, one split in half. Going to plan B, I ended up cutting the rubber halo into sections which allowed the tank to fit into the tray and prevent damage to the sensors by giving enough clearance. Then there was the centering of the sensor on the tank. I forgot to use the dielectric grease on the first one and it centered beautifully. Cool. I then removed it, greased it which then resulted in the sensor wandering around and not staying put. A very thin layer of grease, if any at all, will suffice. They are installed, they work well and I have a spare set of batteries in the trailer when its time to replace them!

Works great - can be integrated into Home Assistant using ESP32 BT gateway
This works great so long as your within BT range. If you're a bit of a nerd, you can install a bluetooth-to-wifi gateway using an ESP32 and home assistant - and then the data can be captured via WIFI. This allows 24/7 monitoring from anywhere, and using scripting/node red, you can set up alerts or other functions to let you know it's time to refill.I'm using this on a 100lb vertical tank which is used exclusively on a Rinnai on-demand water heater (199btu). With a family of four, we get about 3-4 months on a single tank. It's nice to know when I get down to about 10% so I can get the tank replaced before anyone gets caught with a cold shower.

Great product
This is the second unit I have bought. Both work great and are more accurate than the analog cages that come with the propane tanks.
