Q: How many players can be listed for each game?

15 players can be listed per team

Q: Are the 1st 2 pages of the scorebook filled out as sample pages? It kinda threw me off thinking I received a used book...

The first two pages are sample pages on how to correctly score a game. It is not a used book.

Q: Are you able to track shot attempts or missed shots?

No, there is no spot for that in this book. It is a traditional scorebook and none of those contain an area for shot attempts, etc.

Q: Is there a place to log minutes by player?

I would agree with Shopping Mom. There is a place for team Turnovers, Timeouts, scoring, etc. as well. Some people even place a mark above the player's name for turnovers by player & some even devise a way to show rebounds by player. Trust me, this is the best scorekeeping system for middle school and/or high school basketball. Haven't scored college or pros, but I'm assuming it is the same.But, I can't see a way you can use this for playing time by player. You would need a separate piece of paper or an iPad app, etc.
