My boyfriend is the one who uses these. He puts his standard picks in there as well as his stone picks. He puts up to two at a time if i'm not mistaken.

Q: Is the necklace or the pick holder waterproof?

The pick holder is made of silicone rubber; it is waterproof and will not be damaged by showering in it. I have worn mine while swimming in chlorinated pools and the only issue I've had is the cord has faded to a kind of darkish gray. If you're worried about the cord fading, it is very easy to loosen and remove before swimming or showering. I haven't taken mine off for a year or so, and other than the cord fading, I haven't any problems.
