Great product. Used to make a light fixture that was discontinued work again. repair job that would have cost the client thousands since it was two repairs of 50 light fixtures.

This works great with the LED Chip Bulb 300mA 9W 18 LEDs 5730.

Update: failed after about 6 months of use. I've successfully used the lower rated ones, but the 3000mA one overheats and fails over time I believe.This thing overheats: ~150F when I measured it mounted on a wooden structure. Might recommend mounting it on a metal structure so it can dissapate heat, but would not work for my application. Otherwise operated correctly with the right current.

Seems Altair has a qc problem with it's otherwise great led lamps. I've had a number of failures of their drivers, I've put replacements in other people's units, and I've said in line at Costco with people returning their failed lamps. To Altair's credit, they are pretty good at supplying replacement drivers, but I got tired of replacing under engineered drivers with the same product. These work well; it's too soon to tell if the have better longevity than the oem units, but they for well and replaced the originals easily.

The power supply in a five-year-old and fairly pricey Lowe's 4 LED ceiling light started acting up a week ago, turning on and off and finally just staying off. It was an Intertek 600 milliamp 34 to 38 volt supply; I measured the voltage under load and found it to be 37 volts. There was no source I could find to purchase the original. This 600mA power supply covered that range and was physically small enough to fit the fixture. I got it installed tonight with no issues at all and it's been running now for a couple of hours without a glitch. It seems to be built very well and does the job. I hope I get the longevity out of it but at this price I'm a happy camper...Quick update: just shy of 3 years and this thing is still working fine.

Bought this to replace the failed LED Driver in a bathroom vent light. See picture. This one delivers the appropriate voltage and 450ma to operate the LED array of the light. This item is identified as waterproof. It appears to be well sealed. If your light has failed, be sure to buy a driver that matches the output rating on the LED driver, both voltage and amps. If it is in a damp environment install a waterproof LED Driver.
