This stuff is amazing!
Love, love, love. This sunscreen is fantastic! I wish this was around when I was in my teens, 20's & 30's because then I would have worn sunscreen & not have developed the signs of aging & hyperpigmentation that currently are the bane of my existence! This sunscreen is ideal for those who have oily skin, have acne, oily skin, do not like the heaviness sunscreen or get breakout because of sunscreen or have problems with the white cast left by mineral sunscreen.I have all the above problems of oily skin, breakout with a lot of sunscreens, have dealt with the white cast of other sunscreens because I have medium to tan olive skin.I have to say, I was worried when I first squeezed the product out of the tube because it comes out in a pale green shade. I thought "Uh-Oh."Hero Force Shield goes on without a color or coverage, but the back of the tube says that the green tint to their sunscreen helps to balance out any redness in your complexion. But when I applied this to my face and gently rubbed in (does not require vigorous rubbing into your face) the green tint of this sunscreen disappeared, left a nice, lightweight & breathable finish. It worked nicely with my lightweight makeup application.I have LOTS of different kinds of sunscreen. I am embarrassed to say that I probably have close to 20 different sunscreens just for my face as I am always on the quest to find the perfect sunscreen (I realize perfect is subjective). This is one of most inexpensive facial sunscreens that I have purchased. Of my collection of facial sunscreen, only Australian Gold is cheaper than this. My collection of facial sunscreens range in price from $7 to $75.Hero Force Shield would be perfect IMHO if only it was spf 50. But that is just my personal preference. Most dermatologist say an Spf 30 is sufficient.I will continue to use & repurchase thisBy the way, it has a lovely matte finish but is not drying....it feels moisturizing without being heavy or greasy.I do not think this is waterproof or sweatproof so probably not ideal for a day at the beach.Anyway, if are looking for a lightweight, breathable sunscreen that works well with or without makeup & does not cause acne breakouts, I recommend that you try this!

Free of harsh chemicals. Perfect for sensitive skin
I love this sunscreen. I’ve been searching for a face sunscreen so I’ve been through a lot before I found this holy grail. I have acne prone, very sensitive skin, and my face loves it. It doesn’t make me break out or make me feel greasy at all. It has no smell. I love the green tint to subtly help with redness and it does not leave a white cast. The cream is so smooth and thin. The best part is that’s it’s free of any harsh sunscreen chemicals, it has a lot of organic ingredients like rice, green tea purple sweet potato ect…

Satisfactory Daily Sunscreen for Skincare Use
I have been using this sunscreen as part of my skincare routine for almost a year now. Down below are my pros and cons.Pros:* Lightweight sunscreen that does not have a gritty texture and gentle on the skin.* Zinc Oxide, no chemical sunscreen.* Absorbs into skin easily after waiting for moisturizer to dry up on my skin past a few minutes.Cons:* Difficult/cumbersome plastic pump- Can be tiresome to press the pump with your fingers, especially if you have difficulty making a claw motion with your fingers.- Pump does not output the same amount of force and volume of sunscreen when near empty. You sometimes have to make multiple pumps to get the same amount from when you first pump a full bottle.- To get your money's worth from this sunscreen, when your sunscreen is just about empty, you have to unscrew the plastic pump lefty-loosey like a bottle cap from a plastic bottle to open up the tube. Once opened, take a thin cylindrical object like a cotton swab or a toothpick stick it in the tube and make circular motions to get the remaining sunscreen inside the tube. Gently apply your cylindrical object to your face with slow sweeping motions.* Price- While this sunscreen may currently be one of the best sunscreens for skincare on the market, almost any spf 15+ sunscreen can protect your skin from UV damage. You can get sunscreens to apply for skincare/daily use for much cheaper/more value from Amazon or even your local pharmacy/brick-and-mortar store.

Does what it claims! Just be patient.
I was on my last bit of the Hero Sunscreen that comes in in the orange pump bottle. I got it on clearance at CVS for a couple bucks because I wear SPF on my face daily so always pick up any I find for a deal. I really liked this spf and loved the glow it gave my skin so I came to Amazon to repurchase. I found they had a redness reducing version of it, and decided to try it because I have also been in the market for something to bring down my natural redness when I go without makeup. I read others reviews mentioning it not being as effective as hoped for erasing redness as well as it pulling too white of people. What I have found is that the redness reducing isn't instant. It takes a few minutes. It isn't drastic but it definitely reduces redness. As well as the white cast. It will even out after a few minutes. I like this one just as much as the orange one I have used previously. I really have enjoyed everything I have tried from this brand.

Most Important Part of My Skin Care Routine
My all time favorite sun screen! Clean ingredients, light weight, and leaves no white residue. A good sun screen is the most important part of a skin care routine, it’s worth spending the money on.

Made skin dry, white cast, but sensitive skin friendly
I have sensitive skin, so I have to use mineral sunscreens. Chemical sunscreens break me out. I was looking forward to using this since I have redness everywhere. It doesn't combat it like a holy grail; there is still redness, just lighter with an ugly white cast over it. You have to work it in for a couple of minutes or else you look like a ghost. It also made my skin dry. But on the good side, it hasn't broken me out. I'm pretty sure there's better stuff out there
