The best BUG yet!
Billy is back and brings with her the full range of emotions for her readers, from laughing out loud to surreptitiously wiping away a tear. I loved this book because it had a complexity of plot that kept me, an adult reader, as entertained as it did my young reading friends. The story is a great way for children to explore and understand different family dynamics, appreciate that problems at school are the same for Billy as for them, and of course to learn all about biscuit laws! Hope to see more of Billy in the future.

Daughter couldnt put it down
My daughter was thrilled to see the 3rd instalment land on the doormat - so much so it was polished off in about 24 hours. I could hear chuckles and she was so engaged with the book and eager to tell me some of the best bits. Even the tablet too a back seat to reading this book. Its a series my daughter has returned too and read again and again. Cant recommend highly enough for both bookworms or those that typically shy away.

Too much marketing
This book has too much of 'buy me' at the very beginning of it, this put me off almost immediately. I persisted with my reading and I have to say it is an interesting read, although I am outraged by the fact that the fact of 'bullies are legal' is an accepted norm now. The main character of this book has been tormented by a couple of kids at school and she seems to be just stating it. My nervous system would have been demolished as it is for so many children. I appreciate a lot of children are forced to put up with it because they 'have to go to school', but I think such issues should be addressed at a totally different level, not 'I've been there too! It's ok.' That out of the way, the book addresses a lot of very modern issues such as diversity of our society, all the novel stuff that is not novel any more and I think that the book does wonderfully. It is an informative read and I think the way it is written will be appealing to a wide range of young readers.
