I ordered these primarily for some casual jewelry projects, but a few of the charms I wouldn't wear have made fantastic additions to scrapbooking, junk journal, and even art therapy pages.Overall, they're pretty good for the price, though one of the charms I received was bent and some had visible lines from being pour-molded. They're polished pretty well, and the antiquing is just dark enough to highlight their texture. Most of the charms are small enough that they work really well on charm bracelets, but are quite small for necklaces unless you're going for a dainty look or making it for a girl in elementary school. But that also makes them work well as small metal accents on scrapbooking layouts, or not significantly oversized to include on a mixed-media/collage ATC.I do wish the kit came with more jump rings and fewer keyrings, but that's a minor thing, and anyone doing jewelry is always purchasing quantities of jump rings.

This is a great introductory set both for experienced crafters and for new crafters who want to experiment with making jewelry and keychains. As well as charms, the set includes A-Z letters, clasps and jump rings – all and all a great place to start. For me, though, the great value was the size of the charms. They are a smaller size than a lot of the amulets and charms available elsewhere. It’s not easy to find this size of charm which is perfect for bracelets especially. The charms have opened new options for me. The items include a wide variety of designs, are sturdy and with a good silver finish. Recommended!

🎈FOR DIY CRAFTS:These are good for me because the charms are tiny, unique (no duplicates), and highly detailed for their size. I'm only interested in the charms from this package as I needed them for DIY miniature crafts. The little hoops on top snap off easily (again excellent for me) and it is easy for me to grind away the extra with my dremel.📿 FOR JEWELRY:This would be a fun set for pre-teen or teen to make jewelry with, especially if they enjoy tiny charms and mismatched earrings. This is unlikely to be suitable for an adult.🔑 FOR KEYCHAINS:While the key rings are sturdy, the charms are a bit delicate for use on a keyring.❔ OVERALL: This is ok for kids or if you want little items to decorate mini crafts with. The charms are delicate - ok for jewelry, and they're more interesting to children & teens than adults.

I really like everything that’s included with this item…you get some string, a bag of lobster clasps, a bag of key chain rings and circular charms with phrases, a small bag of alphabet/letter charms, and a big bag of the smaller, unique charms — all stuffed inside one bigger bag. Despite the number of charms included, I received quite a few duplicates which was a bit disappointing, and I’m not a fan of the big, circular charms with phrases, but everything else made up for that. The charms themselves are sturdy and well-made with a good amount of detail to each, and there are a LOT of lobster clasps and keychain rings included. Overall, it’s a great deal for the price. This would probably make a good gift for anyone who enjoys jewelry-making or collecting.

This is a nice starter assortment of charms for jewelry making. I really did not need too many of the charms, but the ones I need and some of the assorted items that come with it made it worth the value, and this set has a better mix than I usually see. They are very tiny. They would be good for charm bracelets, not so much for necklaces.
