I have used a lot of soy wax for candle making and unfortunately this is my least favorite. It frosts and is brittle, not as creamy as other brands. I may try to add a little coconut oil until it’s gone but won’t buy again. It’s too bad because there were some nice little bonuses and the price was good.

The kit is a great starter for beginners to soy wax or candles. Just know, mine came with all the wax spoiled.Yes, soy wax can spoil after a long long time and will smell rancid or like bad pork fat strangely enough.Other than that issue, the wax comes pre-flaked in a large sturdy and resealable bag. The wicks are just as described but be aware that the wicks are standard, meaning they may not work well for the type of candle container you use.Highly suggest you do 1 test candle and then light it when it cools to make sure the wick is not too big or doesn’t drown itself.Otherwise enjoy!

I was hoping once melted it would neutralize the smell. Nope. Tried anyways. 10 percent fragrance and the wax still leaves a distinct odor.

Melts fast for my candles and no bubbles loved it also really was glad to receive other items like the wicks ,pot and wick holders all items came in handy yay!
