So glad to find them on desertcart, because when I contacted company they are only sold in US Review: Holy Moly! - I haven't had a chance to use these yet so I can't vouch for how they perform, but I literally just pulled them out of the desertcart shipping box, and man are these things solid as hell. I read a previous review that indicated you could use these as a weapon and then continue to make hobo pies, and I'm here to assure you that this is fact. As soon as I pulled this out of the box I could tell they were worth the money I paid just in the weight and construction. I was reluctant to spend the higher price on this product as there are alternatives in the desertcart store, but I've owned those ones before and I was looking for something new. I am a firm believer in the fact that if you buy something that is of higher quality at a higher price, you will get more from it in the long run. I have no doubt that I was right in my thinking this time around. The company saw that I had placed two separate orders and wrote to me directly to ensure that I hadn't made a mistake before they shipped which was refreshing and very respectable on their part. I think that my family is really going to enjoy these for many years to come. I'm not being asked to write this review and I'm not being paid either. I shop the hell out of things when I make a purchase and I did the same for these cookers. That being said, I have no regrets as I feel that these are of excellent quality. I will be ordering from this company again. ## Features - Authentic American Craftsmanship: Palmer's pie & sandwich fire toaster is proudly made in the USA, delivering durability and consistent results, making it an essential tool for campfire cooking enthusiasts. Used on an electric stove likely won't yield an even temperature throughout. **Q: Is this for two or one? As it is double the price direct from the manufacture.** A: The price is for one cast iron sandwich maker. The people who make them, C. Palmer Manufacturing Company, sells them on their website for $34.95 each (cast iron version) but they are presently out of stock. Not sure where you got the impression it is double the price unless you looked at the cast aluminum version that the company sells on their website for $15.95 each. **Q: Is this a set or just one?** A: It is just one. **Q: With proper seasoning and use, will this toaster get the typical black cast iron finish?** A: Yes, with enough use it will have a cast iron finish. Probably in 4-6 uses. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Product *by W***N on 1 June 2026* Excelent product, bought our first 2 in 1977, had 1 break this spring.
