I brought this case to Death Valley, California for a month straight in August 2023. For you Army guys I'm talking about NTC rotation. My phone did not overheat once. I also took measures such as keeping it off at peak hot hours, putting it in airplane mode, keeping the case in the shade, and not repeatedly putting it in/taking it out during the day (as much as possible). Last time, I was here for a month May/June and my phone would show overheat warnings or tell me it couldn't turn on because it was too hot. That is why I bought this case and it worked great. The velcro becomes degraded after repeated use but it doesn't appear to affect heat protection because the phone never over-heated. I got complete service/signal with the phone in the pouch as well. My phone is a V50thinQ android OS. Lastly, it's a nice way to keep your phone safe from bumps/drops, and it makes it easier to find because of the silver color. I was jostling around all month in and out of big vehicles and running around with my phone in my hip pocket (inside this case) and had no new screen damage. Overall I'm extremely pleased with this case and I will buy a new one when I have to visit extreme temperature regions again. If it did the job here it will do it anywhere.

I purchased this last May 2024 to keep my IPhone cooler when I ride my Honda Goldwing. There is a compartment on the motorcycle where people store their phones while riding. On warm to hot days my phone overheats and shuts down after about 30 minutes of riding. I purchased this in the hopes it would keep it cooler. I don't think it worked at all. It may have made it worse. Total waste of money.
