Phenomenal Radio
Radio is sturdy and loud for its size, clip hanger is very convenient for quick setup. User interface is very easy to use and straightforward. Battery exchange is very quick and easy. Using a 4 amp hour battery and using the radio at 90-100% Volume during 12 hour works, will last you all day, even enough battery left for playtime at home. Back of the radio can hold a 8 amp hour battery and a mobile phone charger easily in the back battery storage. The back cover to the battery storage, can be removed, now giving the radio the privilege to hold a 12 amp hour battery. I have used the 8 amp battery a hand full of times to power my radio, for the workday and it has only ever dropped it one bar. Most of the time it stays on five bars. Radio is also very sturdy and rugged the two gripping handles feel great in the hands. You can bring this radio with you essentially anywhere, is very light and i have never had a problem with the weight. I am impressed with this unit and would purchase it again.

Great sound!
I use this radio in a warehouse and has great sound to it. And the hook is a great feature because I can hook it onto my forklift whenever I’m moving to a different work area.

Great sound!
I bought this speaker for my bestie who does construction. He literally tried every other brand before I got him this one and this is his favorite job site speaker due to the sound quality. (You can also easily use this for a party). It’s nice and loud but also, the quality of sound is very good.

Bluetooth not quite loud enough, AM/FM is fine
Like other reviewers, I find this lacking in the volume department. But only when using it with a bluetooth source (which is all I use it for). I suspect those who are happy with the volume, even when on a jobsite, are using it for AM/FM. If you like listening to commercials every 5 minutes, have at it.And yes, I have the volume on my bluetooth source cranked all the way up. I've found BT is just quieter on lots of similar devices for whatever reason. This speaker is still loud enough to hear perfectly fine in a moderately quiet environment, but on a busy job site no way. Again, this complaint is only for Bluetooth. One thing I don't like is there's no good way to store the AC adapter when you have a battery installed. The AC adapter fortunately stores nicely in the battery compartment when there's NOT a battery in there, but that doesn't help me as I usually run the thing off a small-Ah battery. So you have to set the AC adapter down somewhere and hope you don't lose it. I had to buy a tool porch and carabiner-clip it to the radio handles. Not exactly ideal. Maybe there's a way to wedge it in there alongside a small battery but I haven't been successful so far.Aside from those two issues, I do really like the radio and I'm glad I bought it. Maybe not at this price though. If I wasn't practically married to the Bosch brand I'd probably look for something louder and (more importantly) cheaper.A small improvement they could make is to include reception for the weather radio band.

Quality radio
Purchased this radio for my boyfriend’s porch. It connects easily to Bluetooth and picks up all local radio stations. It’s a loud unit and appears very sturdy

Was a nice battery while it lasted
The battery charge lasted a decent amount of time. After about a year it wouldn’t charge, not sure what happened. The battery isn’t swollen and was very lightly used. Very disappointed in Bosch.
