My 7 year old daughter and I built this castle for her birthday. The pieces were nicely organized into four sturdy plastic bags that we could later reuse. She had fun ordering the bags, and finding her way with the elaborate, detailed and helpful instructions. Then, bag by bag, we tackled the building of the ~900 pieces castle. Or is it a carnival car? Or something else? That too, was fun to discuss. Of course, she connected the story of this set to Disney's Frozen, so that we could chat about how Elsa would have built this driving castle. The instructions are easy to follow for my 7-year old. She enjoyed alternating between picking pieces for the next steps, and using the pieces I had gathered for her to build the next step. Pieces fitted perfectly, and connections between pieces felt strong and sturdy. The set has survived a week of play at the time of writing, which is more than I've been able to say of some of the competition.Very warmly recommended.

My daughter just turned 7, she did good putting this together with very minimal help. Blocks are good bright colors, color of blocks better then lego brand.

Gifted to my 11 year old son. He usually works on LEGO creator sets and likes the modular city builds. Was looking for something farm/plant theme so this was perfect. He loves it. For us, the pros outweigh the cons but we wanted to let people know what to expect. He worked on it for three days (I have no idea how many hours)Pros:- looks great, beautiful build to display- takes patience, this is a pro for him because he actually enjoys taking his time and doing something that is difficult- nice theme filled to the brim with nice features, pieces that are unique (he especially loves the little cherries on the tree and all the windows)- got it on sale! great price for what you get compared to the other brand- It comes with lights! (but it would be great if they worked)Cons:- The lights don't work, and one connector was broken. Good thing I checked them before installation.- Several missing pieces we were able to compensate for. By the end we ran short of single black square studs by at least 6.- A "paint roller" piece for the lamps broke when fitting together. A bit flimsy so we were very careful with the rest of them.- A piece we just weren't sure about. At the end there was a black rod they show 1:1 in the instructions. The only piece left to use was a flexible black tube and it was too long. We decided to cut it down to size after double checking to make sure we hadn't used a wrong piece somewhere.- pieces are wobbly and need constant adjustment. Once you get more together it's sturdy. A couple pieces were weird because they don't allow a seamless look and make you wonder if you did something wrong at first. It still looks fine in the end.- Tight spacing is frustrating for adult size hands. His little fingers fit but mine did not. I was knocking indoor lamps, plants and coffee cups out of place trying to get pieces fitted securely across the top. He loved being able to fix it when I couldn't and we had a good laugh about the coffee cup hanging in the tree and potted plants stuck to the ceiling.

Perfect Gift!

The product was as easy to assemble as any other lego products. My 8 year old was able to assemble it without help. It is quite sturdy but again as sturdy as lego can possibly be( at its price, value for money). Design and pieces are detailed. Kid loved making it. Now she started asking more like it. I recommend it, good gift item.

Bought this for my niece who has gone through the Lego frozen items. So this was a great alternative. She had zero issues with it. Went together easy. And looks great

Easy-to-follow instructions and well-packaged bags, takes about 2-4 hours for completion. My 8 year old loves this and it kept her busy for a while, the instructions are easy to follow so she was able to finish it. The Lego pieces are nice colors and sturdy. The end product looks amazing and the wheels roll effortlessly!

Ma fille de sept ans a beaucoup aimé ce jeu, mais il s'avère difficile à construire : il faut vraiment beaucoup presser sur les morceaux pour que le château soit solidement assemblé. Ce qui peut être décourageant pour l'enfant.Alors toute la famille est en train d'assembler des morceaux du château avec elle. Nous avons hâte de voir le produit final !
