Hely & Weber Kuhl Modabber Thumb Brace (Standard)

This is the third one I’ve bought: that’s because I wore out the first two. This allows me to keep lifting weights for which I am so thankful.

This is third brace I have bought as I misplaced one of the 2 I got thru my Ortho Dr. Definately by thru Amazon as Dr charges an almost unbelievable be high amount. This comes with 2 different metal pieces to completely stabilize thumb or to allow it to bend . I used these before & after surgery on thumb. Continue to use on hand that is recovering from surgery at night or when using hands alot, as well as, on hand that still needs surgery. Especially when driving. These take some pressures off thumb without interfering with ability to grip things (well, at least to the point injury allows) Prior to surgery they allowed me to do tasks longer before pain became unbearable or swelling required Icing. I remove metal before placing braces in lingerie bag and tossing in with regular laundry. You will want 2. Hands sweat and you will not regret having one to wash while having one to wear.

I was first given one of these thumb braces by my hand surgeon after being diagnosed with arthritis in my thumb several years ago. I work at a computer all day and the brace helps to keep my mouse hand comfortable. I toss it in the washing machine periodically to keep it clean. The brace works very well for me.

My thumb is too big for this device. Quality is quite good, just won't work for me. Unfortunately, I must return it.

This really helps as I got to the point to where I could not lift a light pan without having to use both hands.

Fit to a tee & does the job!

I like the extra support the Hely & Weber Kuhl Modabber provides in the wrist area. The downfall is the odor after wearing it for a while. Just need to clean it more.
